Unexplained Dizziness for Over a Week...

I'm a 28 year old woman, about 5'5 and 268, and take no medications other than clonazepam as needed. One day at work, I started experiencing a migraine headache on the right side of my head. It went away the next day, but ever since, I've been left with vertigo for about 9 days. No one knows what the cause is.

I have been admitted to the ER where a head and neck CT scans with contrast, a chest x ray, numerous bloodwork, a brain MRI without contrast, etc all looked great. Someone from physical therapy came in and didn't think I had BPPV after initial thoughts were that I had it because I did not have eye twitching after a manuver.

My dizziness gets better with rest and worsens with movement. It gets so much worse when I am hungry, and docs want me to monitor my blood sugar. When I stand, sometimes it feels like blood pools to my legs and hands. They did a few orthostatic blood pressure tests (both standing / sitting) and that seemed okay.

I'm genuinely confused as to what to discuss with my primary care physician. The vertigo is fairly reproducible, it is the worst when I get up / stand after too long and when I move my head. I feel facial pressure when I move my head as well, and feel the fluid in my ears move / get itchy - yet, I have no other symptoms of an ear infection.

I want to cry and I am at wit's end with this. I just want my life back and to move around. Does anyone have an idea of what could be happening? This vertigo exacerbates my anxiety times 10 and makes me feel lightheaded / faint.

Intense Vertigo - any advice?

I have been dealing with intense vertigo since last Saturday, this is following a migraine on the right side of my head. The migraine went away, but the vertigo has been life altering. It most often affects me when standing and turning my head, as well as bending down. Sometimes, with too much effort, the headache returns and the cycle starts all over again.

I have been to the emergency room twice over the past 2 days. Ear checkups show nothing remarkable, my CT scans (neck and brain) thankfully show nothing out of the ordinary. Bloodwork looked normal too. My primary care is looking to send me to physical therapy soon.

Got told that it was likely BPPV. EKGs are normal as well. I have a follow up with my PCP next week, in the meanwhile I have done nothing but lay down. I cannot afford to be taking this much time away from work, but I have been doing so anyway. It gets better in the morning, but gets worse with activity. It is beyond annoying.

How do people deal with the constant vertigo from this condition? What exercises help you the most?

I know the ER doc tried the Epely Manuver, as well as giving me Toradol and Benadryl. The latter very nearly made me faint due to the heaviness and worsened my dizziness, the former got rid of the headache. This all has given me some of the worst panic attacks of my life.

Post Migraine Vertigo - feeling lost

I am a 28 y/o woman. I suffered a migraine at work on Friday. I powered through the migraine and felt better with that, but have had resulting vertigo since Saturday. The vertigo has come without the headache, the day afterward. This has been accompanied by extreme brain fog at times (thankfully that part has gotten better). I had such severe vertigo at work yesterday that I had to leave early - I took meclizine and it made the dizziness worse.

I went to the ER, and everything looked fine - bloodwork confirmed no anemia, EKG and cardiac bloodwork looked okay, and no ear infection. I am a bit of a hypochondriac, and this is freaking me out. I was preliminary diagnosed with BPPV, and I have a follow up appointment next Wednesday. This is alongside a physical therapy referral.

I hate feeling like this. Has anyone else dealt with post migraine vertigo? I feel better once I lay down, but if I stand up, all hell seems to break loose. At least the brain fog has improved substantially, but I want to get back to doing what I love the most.

Realizing how much of my trauma has actually affected me sucks.

CW: sexual assault, a lot of this will be spoilered.

In 2018, my first serious boyfriend >!non consensually digitally penetrated me without any indication from me that I wanted it.!< >!This was days after losing my virginity to him, by then I was still healing.!< >!By the time I told him to stop, it was too late. The damage was already done.!< >!When confronted about it, he told me that he misinterpreted some signals and that 'got him in the mood', and it only went downward from there. He claimed to feel like shit afterwards.!<

I only recently came to terms with the fact that this affected me more than I realized.

I struggle with trusting men, and in relationships in general. I freeze up when it comes to intimate matters, and it takes me quite a while to trust anyone in this way. This has only been compounded by further traumas I have experienced. He had no respect for my body or me, and almost 10 years later, I still feel empty inside when I think about it.

I feel so alone.

Looking to replace my broken Momentum 4s when I came across a deal for these on Amazon. What is the sound like? I dig a lot of lively, bass heavy music (new wave/ synthwave/ big beat / dubstep), shoegaze, and vaporwave. I like sound that feels holographic with an immersive soundstage - something that I can get lost in and never really tire of. Are these a good choice given the music that I listen to the most?
