Long Tailed Tit
I saw my first ever LTT fledglings the other day, a flock of them descended on my garden. Absolutely gorgeous little beasties.

My first successful(ish!) attempt at growing tomatoes from seed, I was pinching out side shoots and I think I've accidentally pinched off the growing tip from one of them. Is it going to stop growing/producing, now? Or if I leave a side-shoot growing, will that carry on flowering?
(Vine type plant, "San Marzano" plum tomato)
After two decades of not even wearing a watch, a few weeks ago I bought a nice gold casio on a whim, and loved it straight away. I guess I caught the bug, because look what's happened now...

I took a gamble and bought this online, it definitely paid off because I absolutely adore it. And it looks great on me, there's no denying it.
Edit: SRPK48J1 for those that may be interested.
I have some Tiki supplies (Orgeat, Falernum, rum, orange bitters) arriving today because we're having a UK heatwave and I fancy something tropical tonight. I'm not against doing big fruity punches, but I usually go for short boozy cocktails (Old fashioned, Negroni, Martini, Manhattan) or semi-short drinks (Whiskey Sour, Bramble, Daiquiri, Caipirinha)
Let's hear some of your favourite short Tiki recipes! I'm familiar with The Corsican and Corn & Oil, and I suppose a Mai Tai is relatively short, but what else is out there?
"Eurasian Jay" for my transatlantic homies. Usually the undisputed master of the outraged stink-eye, this one managed to just look dopey.
I've got an old climbing rose that got very leggy and woody on it's now collapsed rose arch (not knowledgeable gardeners at all, so it never got any real pruning or care) so I cut it right back and got a new obelisk to grow it up.
As you can see, I originally cut it just above the only bit of leaf still growing on the one stem, and cut the rest back hard. Now spring is sprunging I can see there's quite a lot of new growth coming in around the base. Would you cut that one untidy stem back hard as well, and give it a complete fresh start, or let it stay?
