New Metro or Minimatik?

The internet at large is telling me that Tele bridge (and more widely Fender bridge pickups) are usually south polarity facing up.
I have two Fender ‘62 Custom Telecaster Bridge pickups here that read North facing up.
Will getting Neck pickups that hum cancel in the middle position be a bit more of a challenge?
I hear the average neck pickup have North polarity.
Thank you for the assist, Reddit!
I had an idea for a offset body that say is routed for 25”.5 scale like a Jazzmaster, but also can take 24” scale necks.
Does anyone make that option? A conversion neck that fits the bridge routing for 25.5?
I imagine you would be looking at say a 20 fret neck instead of the more standard 21/22 if there was no overhang due to the amount of body taking up the shorter scale.
But wouldn’t people want this? You could go from a JM sound and feel to closer to a Jag sound and feel with the same body.
I’d be interested in a Tele like this as they’re great for alt tunings and a drop in shorter scale neck would increase that utility.
