Boohoo jeans not 100% cotton, general annoyance

Boohoo jeans not 100% cotton, general annoyance

General notice as I tried quick search and seem to get worse finding relevant info on things.

Bought 2 different pairs months ago, £20 i was not being picky, noticed oh 65% cotton, ok, check site and just other day bought 2 different pair after checking the product details, and arrived and not 100% cotton

also the RN167448 number oddly same on all jeans, same cloths label, and only the temp black tag has the relevant product code to match the site

The other jeans do show 65% /33% values on their product details sections, hence confusion and annoyance.

Maybe mistake on website description

Maybe label - I sus not, and standard label, while its only the colour shading difference, some cut difference between the jeans.

£20 for jeans that actually fit and feel ok, great, its the misleading description not great.

Any others issue with boohoo fabric description, or general ick every time?

And raising comment on site wanted a facebook chat message, nope, reddit can steal enough of my data as is.

A mega city - curiosity to work on

https://preview.redd.it/3i9kdgm4h8dh1.png?width=3218&format=png&auto=webp&s=e8b1a2b82c3e1c7eba528d1224deb21133ec2862

Tried looking up if others built some mega city. Seen the ring with spires, and was curious how large a 20x20 area is.

Some thoughts to put a factory area for food. Some higher end for the medicals. and mostly how many people could it be. which just on 1 layer of Arg, fits I think 40x40 which is 1.6 million. Stack that 20x times

but Iv an idea to have flat, with some spires in the uptown area with their own luxery dock. Then underneath it all some drug production block.

I have a bunch to do with progressing my main game with production lines, and might come back to this, when more blueprints gotten.

If anyone does have some images of maxed out plots, please let me know.

(meme flair as I not sure what else this desire builds fits into)

thanks

Denim vest, True Bias Quinn Vest by the foldline

Left work not in great mode, but pushed through to finish the buttons on this, to only make the button holes a bit askew, though I guess having the button skewed in line can help

True Bias Quinn Vest by The Fold

And then not realised how much the bust sizing was. It is clearly described in the instructions as D cup, but I think when I first started this, like 4 weeks ago first with a toile, I might have mixed up the lines for upper bust and bust measures🤦. Fits me on the waste though 🥲 which is why I started trying to make my own things a few years ago now.

Practice, learn, fail and cry, start a new thing and practice practice practice.

Pattern is 4 lengths. I did B, and then added 15cm to make longer. That looks to have been ok.

Did toile with calico, upto but before armhole and hem bias, which I should have done to get more practice with.

Tried a french seam on front/side part and realised how bulky that makes it with this denim.

Need to get a buckle for the back. Some how convinced my brain they were tie together.

Armhole binding I did not catch near the edge at all. And seams not finished with zigzag (or that other edge catch stitch iv found) so will see how quickly those frey if I don't get some motivation to stitch those.

Vest I did before I like a lot more now, despite the guide for that being 5 lines long and and so many corner pieces in the wrong order.

I am unsure if not having a top stitch on middle fold, to give a line on the edge and hold the shape. Seems like just relying on button holes and buttons stitching to keep facing in place🤷

I have learned/tried some new steps with this process. Princess seam looks smooth enough, if sized for a different body

Thank you, here's to what looks like a not great week for me, at least got this finished.
