Phare smoke alarm looks alot like Protect

Seeing as Nest Protect doesn't allow new devices to be added. Been forced to look at other options....

Saw this on Facebook feed.

Seems like it has many Nest Protect features including path light.

Thought it might be interesting to share.

Nest Protect Safety check up does not work from Nest app

Just wondering if anyone can run a "Safety check up" from the Nest app atm?

I have purchased a new Nest Protect to replace an expiring one. I cant add it to my account, I spoke to Google support and they said it is not possible to add new Protects at the moment because of a tech issue they are looking into.

Then I thought I would safety check my existing Protects to see if all is well. They complete a safety check just fine via the button on the Protects, but if I use the Nest app it doesn't work and it says "The safety check up wasn't able to start

I'm guessing that this is relevant to the same issue that means new Protects can't be added.

Just trying to work out if this is global/regional outage or if other peeps are ok with their safety check from the Nest app?

Device names change randomly

This issue has been happening for a while, but I don't think I've seen anyone discuss it on here but basically does anyone else find that their device names are randomly shuffling in Eufy Android app?

I have 9 devices but the names of each device randomly change each day to another.

It's annoying because I'll get a notification for "Back garden" but actually it's for another camera entirely.

If I rename them they stay the same for a bit but usually within 24 hrs they start randomly changing.

Is this just me or anyone else seeing this? 😄

White lines / streaks after bonnet repaint?

The bonnet of my Mazda3, Deep Blue Crystal 42M has been repainted. In most conditions it looks perfect, but when it is under direct sunlight I have noticed it seems to have these "white lines" or "streaks" across quite a few areas of the panel.

It doesn't photo very well but hopefully this helps explain. I am wondering what these are? Are they caused by my washing or are they something to do with repaint?

I am un-educated and have Googled things and found terms like "holograms" "marring" etc but I am not sure which applies to me. I don't think these are swirls because they are quite big but only visible in direct sunlight. They stay in the same place but the way they look varies depending on the angle looked at.

Just wondered initially any advice on what these are. Is it something a detailer can fix with correction or is it a body shop correction needed?

[GB] Revolut doesn't work with Halifax bank. Redirects to bank of Scotland

Just wondering if anyone uses Revolut with Halifax bank in UK?

I used to be able to add money from Halifax. But now when I try it takes me to Bank of Scotland login page. And of course I can't sign in because my bank is Halifax, not Bank of Scotland.

It seems like Revolut app thinks Halifax bank is Bank of Scotland now?

Is this happening to anyone else?
