Chest imeyu!.. (I have the honor). Russia, 2004, mini-serial. The Second Chechen War. The soldier, in order to avoid being tortured, blows himself up along with the Chechen militants using a grenade.
The plot of the series is based on the death of the 6th company of Pskov paratroopers on February 29, 2000. At least 5 soldiers had characteristic injuries consistent with self‑detonation, i.e., they blew themselves up with grenades. In total, 84 people died in that battle, and 6 survived.
