So there I was, a seasoned A350 Captain with over 1000 hours in the logbook (don't ask how many of those were spent on 4x sim rate)

We’re barreling down the runway, closing in on V1 when I notice something slightly concerning: my airspeed indicator is completely dead Zero. Zilch, But as a highly trained A350, I made the split second incredibly professional decision to... just keep the throttles at TOGA and yeet it into the sky anyway. Who needs actual numbers when you can fly on vibes, right?

Turns out my F/O completely half-assed the exterior walkaround the pitot cover were still on 😂

just flew through the Atlanta traffic peak during the turnover session, and I have to say BeyondATC is exactly the addon I was missing.The new local offline voices are a total game-changer. The technology has advanced so much that you get realistic voices with zero cloud latency. It adds an incredible layer of immersion to the cockpit, especially during busy shifts like today.Sure, it’s still not perfect, but having instant high-quality ATC chatter running locally on my PC makes the whole experience so much better

Hey evryone

I'm having an issue with the CSS 737 FMC on the POS INIT page. When I try to enter a gate number to get the position coordinates for IRS alignment, the FMC keeps giving me a "NOT IN DATABASE" error i tried with multiple airport scenery

I am currently running the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle

Does anyone know why this happens?or i need to entre it manualy

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my first modest home cockpit setup for MSFS. I don't have a lot of money to invest in dedicated hardware so I decided to make use of what I had: a few old iPads lying around and my phone to remotely access the Fenix A320 MCDU

It’s simple, but it makes flying so much easier without having to constantly move the camera in-game to click on the MCDU or check the instruments.

What do you think? Any recommendations on what I should save up for next?

Waiting batc to clear me to corss runway 26L it been 20 min

the default ATC in MSFS has been a mess for years. We’ve all been ordered to climb to FL390 five miles out from the runway or vectored straight into a mountain. It’s just broken.
On the flip side, third-party projects like BeyondATC and SayIntentions are showing what’s actually possible today with LLMs and voice synthesis.

Which makes me wonder... why doesn't Microsoft use their biggest advantage here? They own Azure. They already have world-class cloud infrastructure, AI tech, and the computing power to back it up. Instead of Asobo spending years trying to fix a core ATC system that’s clearly struggling, why not just buy one of these studios (or license their tech) and plug it directly into MSFS using an Azure backend?

What do you guys think? Is it purely a cost issue, or is Microsoft just not interested in touching default ATC again?

Just imagine having intense dogfights over the Alps or weaving through major cities with full photogrammetry. Throw in some invasion and bombardment scenarios and it would be absolutely sick. Do you guys think Asobo will ever make that leap? It would be some amazing competition for DCS
