I'm a software engineer from Ghana currently building a company called Zero Day Technologies. The name was inspired by the concept of a "zero-day" in cybersecurity, and my vision is to create technology solutions that solve real-world problems.
The company has two main branches. The first is a software consultancy where we build software products and solutions for clients while also working toward developing our own SaaS products. The second is a nonprofit initiative called Zero Day Academy, which aims to provide software engineering education, mentorship, and opportunities for aspiring developers who may not otherwise have access to them.
Before I invest further into the brand and long-term direction, I'd love some honest feedback from founders, engineers, and people in tech. What is your first impression of the name "Zero Day Technologies"? Does the association with zero-day attacks create a negative impression, or does it come across as innovative and memorable? Does the combination of a consultancy business, SaaS ambitions, and a nonprofit academy sound like a coherent vision, or does it feel too broad?
