share your experience with azalaic acid or vitamin c!

I added these two to my routine two days ago! I’m super excited to see if they can help address the red spots (post-inflammatory erythema) and dark brown spots (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) left over when pimples disappear.

Do you have experience with azalaic acid or vitamin C serums? Share your success stories pls!

are brow tattoos ever worth it?

This is what’s left of my eyebrow tattoo after 1 year and 4 months. It doesn’t really look like anything but a really faint shadow. It was really beautiful and defined maybe for half a year before starting to fade.

Does anyone have experience with tattooed brows? How did yours age? Would you do it again?

on a new routine after months of a depression-induced bar soap “routine”

I’ve been struggling with mental health issues that made me let go of good hygiene habits for months. In that time I only used bar soap for my skin, which really messed up my barrier and aggravated my acne. About 11 days ago, I started a new routine to predominantly address my breakouts. All the hydrating stuff were just supporting characters to my main objective: get clear skin.

In the process of this, I realized how much restoring my skin barrier can do. Even with residual breakouts, my skin felt and looked healthier.

It’s not in a perfect state now. I’m still learning about how to juggle actives and barrier-restoring products. I also am struggling to understand and address my underlying redness. But these past few days made me hopeful for the improvement that is to come.
