Home Inspection Company Responsibilities - What's the use of a report that doesn't identify problems with the home?

I spoke to a home inspection company and was surprised to learn that they are not responsible for reporting back to the buyer any problems with the home. I specifically asked about finding and reporting any code violations and their response was that I would need a city inspector for type of report. Instead, the inspector would file a report on the condition of the home. I'm confused as to what purpose of a home inspector is not to identify potential problem areas of a home in escrow. For context this inspector was recommended by our agent.

Rubber/silicone straps for Omega PO Summer Blue

I’m about to buy a PO summer blue and I was looking to swap out the bracelet for a lighter rubber band/strap. I can’t seem to find one from RubberB Zealande or Strapsco. Has anybody had any luck with an OEM or 3rd party brand? TIA

Hey Rivian community-I’m about to join you all in my first purchase of an EV. I have the good fortune of having 2 vehicles to choose from. The first is a 2025 Dual performance max with 11k miles and the second is a 2024 quad with 22k. I’m making the change from a gx550 that i have to fill up every4-5 days.

I’ve read differing opinions on the changes between the 2024 and 2025 models and wanted to get your insights to help me choose. We will be using this car primarily for work back and forth from LA in all types of traffic, but probably not for long distance trips. So here are my questions:

  1. is the ride/comfort that much different between the 2024 and 2025?
  2. has the tech changed or been upgraded to warrant buying the 2025 over the 2024?
  3. is the native universal plug much better to have than using the adapter for gen1?
  4. is the build quality improved between the 2024 and 2025?
Also if you have pointers on which accessories to buy or avoid it or a question that I’ve completely missed it would be much appreciated!

TIA!
