scared and in the dark

nothing is scarier than being undiagnosed and not truly knowing. every single day it only gets worse and worse. i’m in pain all day, all night, whether i’m standing or laying, im always in pain and always feel like im on the verge of passing out. functioning is so, so hard. i’m so exhausted and miserable, my brain fog is so severe i have to think extra hard about anything i want to say or do. i feel so out of it and disconnected. it’s so sad thinking about how i felt just a few months ago and thinking it was bad, having no idea it could get even worse and now wishing i could go back in time to how i felt back then. i suspect mcas and dysautonomia but i have no confirmation, i’m still waiting on blood test results and any sort of word from my doctor. im only on step one of a very long journey and it’s terrifying. it feels like there’s no end to how bad it can get. i hate the unknown. i’m so so so scared and it feels like no one is taking this seriously. i don’t know what to do or how to comfort myself anymore

extreme weakness

my body has been getting increasingly weaker and weaker over the past few months. it’s getting scary just how weak i am. my limbs hurt and even moving my fingers to type feels exhausting. it’s been terrifying and i don’t have a doctors appointment until late august. every hour of every day is terrifying to me, i dread time passing because i’m scared of how bad it keeps getting.

does this sound like dysautonomia?

hi! i am trying to find ideas as to what ive been dealing with for the past 9 months. not asking for a “for sure you have __!” or any online diagnosis, simply looking to see if im even looking in the right area as i’ve been suspecting pots/dysautonomia.. please let me know if you think dysautonomia might be possible or if you think it’s something else. i’ve posted this in two other places and two people have said it sounds like long covid, but i’ve never had covid before.. and one individual suggested i suffer from panic attacks but i don’t think that adds up to my constant symptoms. please let me know what you think, thank you!

i am an 18 year old overweight female and since september i’ve been struggling with slowly worsening symptoms. it started one night i was working on a project and suddenly i felt very very hot, my heart was racing and i felt like i couldn’t breathe properly. i felt like i was on the verge of passing out. i never passed out and i still haven’t, thankfully. it was a brief moment that lasted maybe ten minutes. i was fine for a few days before it suddenly happened again, and then again. and again. until it got to the point where i’m constantly feeling sick in some type of way. my symptoms have evolved since, i am almost always feeling: dizziness, extreme fatigue, brain fog, hot flashes, cold flashes, shakiness, chest pain, trouble breathing/shortness of breath or wheeziness, back pain, neck pain (however i have always had terrible posture and a lump due to it), sensitive eyes (often feeling sore or watery), frequent nausea, bloating, stomach pains, random heart palpitations, occasional ectopic heartbeat, constant random surges of anxiety, migraines, a sense of depersonalization, a frequent lump in the throat type feeling, burping more than i used to, experiencing acid reflux more despite no dietary change that would cause that. and honestly many more symptoms, it’s hard to think of them all when i feel like there’s so many things happening with my body. unsure if related to the rest of this but skin spots (which i’ve had before the rest of this which is why i’m unsure of its related) but i seem to have what looks to be hidradenitis suppurativa under my breasts, between my thighs and on my bottom. also as well as on my shoulders and sternum what looks like tinea versicolor.

i’ve been to the doctors twice and have gotten an EKG and results came out fine, i’ve gotten blood work and things seem to be fine other than appearing to be dehydrated (which i found to be odd because i drink ridiculous amounts of water, i drink lots! of water) and being low on vitamin d.

my own hypothesis from my research these past months has been POTS, but i worry i don’t actually experience enough of the “tachycardia” part for it to be true. which maybe i do and i don’t realize. im not sure. i also have autism and a hard time figuring out what im feeling. i get dizzy holding my arms over my head and feel like im gonna pass out when i stand up too fast or more too fast in any way. blood pools in my legs. i get extremely dizzy and have bad hot flashes if i stand too long though i experience these things while im sitting down as well. way less when i am lying down, but still sometimes, i’ll wake up in the middle of the night sweating profusely and sometimes my heart racing. i have insane heat intolerance. my body overall aches. my most frustrating symptom lately has honestly been the hot flashes, extreme fatigue, brain fog and feeling “out of it”.

it’s been a long time since i’ve last felt “okay”, it feels like it’s only getting worse over the months.
