Hey Girlees, your r/Karlee and r/KarleeGirl head mod here.

First, I want to apologize for the lack of communication about changing subreddits. I was so excited to finally get ownership of the abandoned r/Karlee sub after having tried for a while, so I just went for it and made it the main sub. Then there was an unexpected death in my family which took me offline for a while, so I missed the chance to respond to messages or feedback.

This fan community is now sprawled across two subs. Our mod team would like to simplify down to one main sub and use the other sub as a redirect. Before deciding, we'd like your input on which sub name you'd prefer and why.

r/KarleeGirl is the original sub, founded right after Little Things came out. I chose the name based on her chosen stage name, and because r/Karlee was taken. It felt like the obvious choice.

r/Karlee is the newer sub, relaunched 2-3 weeks ago. My reason for switching was to simplify - some know her as Karlee Girl, others as Karlee Tanaka (her contestant name on Dream/Popstar Academy), and many just refer to her as Karlee already.

Feel free to share your reasons for which one you'd want as fans in the comments. I'll leave this post up until July 7 for your input, then we'll make a decision.

A few days ago, I posted in this sub about using r/MarquiseAura to discuss her debut. However, my wonderful co-mod u/CarefulMidnight151 managed to get the r/Marquise subreddit for us to use instead! It's especially fitting since she officially announced the mononym Marquise as her artist name.

Ua's Instagram is still empty, except for that post from Sept 2025 saying she's started a new journey to chase her dream. She's only following prelude (now saintsatine), hybe.geffen.audition, Geffen Records, and a HYBE creative director, which are all the accounts she started following after she made that post and unfollowed all other accounts.

The prevailing theory is that either she auditioned but wasn't selected, or that she's going to be a member of a future HxG Japanese gg. Which, if that's the case, they may be keeping secret until after Saint Satine debuts.

Hinari I suspect auditioned and maybe passed a few rounds, but didn't get into the final round. That feels like the only news she could have been showing the Katseye ladies that got them all excited and the only explanation for her posts around that time.

If there is going to be a HxG Japanese gg, I hope we get info soon. I would love to see some of the Prelude contestants get picked to make their dreams come true.

What do you think her fandom name should be? Someone in the livestream suggested QISSES with a Q and I thought that sounded really cute! She also gave that idea a shout-out.

With our queen Marquise finally debuting, I wanted to bump the existence of this sub. We'll be posting all of Marquise's updates leading up to and through her debut era.
