Entertainment in Danang

I will be visiting Da Nang for a week. Plan to visit a couple cafes and pubs. We are family and was wondering whats the age to enter pubs/clubs in Vietnam?

Also, is there a website or source that provides weekly updates on happening in the area?

Visiting Hue & Da Nang in mid‑November. Need clarity on flooding risk & safe areas to stay

I’ll be traveling through Hue and Da Nang from Nov 13–20, and I’m trying to understand the realistic situation with weather and flooding that time of year. I know last year was extreme, and I can handle heavy rains and closures, but serious flooding is a different ballgame.

My planned stays:

  • Hue: House of Ly
  • Da Nang: Dragon Hotel & Apartments

A few questions I’d love clarity on:

  • Which neighborhoods are safest to stay in during November?
  • Which areas in both cities are most prone to flooding?
  • Is it still practical to move around by scooter, or is that a bad idea during the rainy season?
  • Any firsthand experience from mid‑November travelers?

How can I identify AI garbage?

I keep seeing people mention “AI garbage” showing up in music threads, but I’m not sure how to actually identify it myself. Does it usually appear in search results, daily discovery feeds, or new arrivals?

Lately I’ve noticed a couple of “new artists” popping up who are reusing old names but suddenly releasing music in a completely different genre. It feels off, but I can’t tell if that’s just rebranding or if it’s AI-generated filler content.

How do you all tell the difference between genuine new releases and low-effort AI spam?

What’s everyone’s take on using multiple password managers?

I’m currently in the process of limiting myself to just two. Bitwarden as primary and Firefox as a backup. Curious to hear how others handle this. Do you stick with a single trusted manager, or do you keep a backup for peace of mind?

Vietnam's recently introduced a new Pre-arrival Declaration Form for visitors. Not sure how they are enforcing it, but better prepare yourself.

  • Only required for arrivals HCM right now.
  • Free of charge.
  • You get a QR code after submission.
  • Complete it up to 3 days before arrival. Best to do it 1-2 days ahead.

If you've seen this new process in action, please share your experience.
