Looking to switch to Mint, and also would like to purchase a Pixel 11 which they do not currently sell. I know Mint does sell heavily subsidized phones, but are those discounts only for new users signing up for the service?

I need to change my cell service by end of the month, but don't want to go to Mint just to find out when they start carrying the Pixel that I am ineligible for the discounted price. Thinking of maybe using a "bridge" carrier if the discounts are for new users only, does anyone have info on how their deals work?

Moving to Butler, what providers get good coverage between there and Pittsburgh? I currently have Mint (T-Mobile towers), will I be ok staying with them?

Also will be looking for home internet. Are the fiber companies the way to go? I see there are 5G-based options also.. anyone have experience with those?

Just got a 2026 Tucson in March, the included wipers left streaks on the drivers side. I finally bit the bullet and got new ones, and they also streak! Is there a spring in the wiper arm that can be adjusted/replaced to add more tension against the glass, or some other way to fix this?

Following up on my previous post, my family is planning on moving to PA from NY in the next month or so - we are trying to find a house in Butler county currently.

I had a couple of questions that I'm hoping those of you with experience can help with, trying to be as prepared as possible. The internet is great but nothing beats the knowledge of locals!

- reasonable / effective auto insurance

- homeowner's insurance

- internet provider

- heating oil (might be needed)

- septic (might be needed)

- what's the deal with garbage in Center Township (for example).. you hire a company to pick it up?

Appreciate any local wisdom for our situation! When we find a place I'll be back to ask more specifics about places to eat, mechanics and such. Thanks in advance!

Priorities are low cost of living, peace and quiet, access to amenities (gas, groceries, etc), things to do for the kids. I'm assuming the climate is similar to New York as it's only 3 hours away.

How do you find places to hunt?

What's a "yinz"?

Must-see activities or landmarks?

Hi All

Someone backed into my brand new 2026 Tucson and cracked the bumper. I know a mechanic who will repair it but he will need to paint the new one. He said the dealer does not have the paint codes as the car is too new. Anyone know where this info can be found? The car is ecotronic gray, thanks in advance!
