I took the July bar exam and I am all but certain that I won't pass. I don't have the energy to sit for the exam again, and I want to get working before my student loan deferment period ends. Given the fact that I have a JD, what would be good positions for me to apply for that would utilize my education and qualifications?

I feel that since I have a JD, I ought to be able to do something that is decently paying with it other than become a lawyer. Is this a realistic expectation for me to have?

I've seen a lot of posts regarding people who got a JD but pursued an enjoyable and (at least down the line) well paying career path, but for the life of me I cannot find out where I should be looking for these positions or applying to them on.

I am obviously rather new to exploring JD preferred positions, and I could certainly benefit from and appreciate any pointers or direction yall could provide me. Thank you.

I just graduated law school in May and will sit for the bar a week from now. I won't get results until October and I need to find something to do in the meantime. I was K-JD and have done a couple criminal law internships during law school. I want to be a clerk or do something like it, but I am finding it difficult to find criminal defense firms that would want me to clerk for them, and I feel like I am wasting time applying to positions outside criminal law given my background. Any advice you could give me is welcome. Thank you.

Yesterday I linked my steam account to an ea account. Little did I know that my steam account was linked to a previous ea account. I have almost 600 hours of progress on battlefield 6 on that previous steam/ea connection, and that progress was left behind with that old connection when I made the new connection. So I went to my ea account and tried to unlink my steam account, only for me to learn that I have to wait until January to unlink the account.

Support tells me it’s for security reasons. So instead of actually just verifying the identity of the supposed account owner, you make them wait several months. Amazing.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Is there anything else I can do to get a fix soon? I really don’t want to have to wait until January for something so stupid.

I’m having a hard time picking a monitor that would go well with a 5070ti. I’m looking for something that’s 1440p with a good refresh rate, good specs, and good build quality. I’ve found some contenders but they all seem to have some problem like poor build quality. What would your recommendations be? I’d like to stay close to the $200 price range.

I've spent about 5 hours today trying to decide which Lian Li fans and AIO to get. The sheer amount of options from Lian Li for solely these two components has driven me mad. So. Please help me before I lose the rest of my sanity.

I am going for a black build, using the o11 vision compact with 6 intake and 2 exhaust fans. Please recommend a set of black Lian Li intake and exhaust fans that are black, have rgb, and that you think are a good price. Please also recommend an AIO that is black, has rgb, and that you think is worth the price.

I worry that if I see the word "or" somewhere down below I am probably going to punch a whole in the wall. At this point I am probably going to just pick one of the comments and buy those components.

I've been a lifelong Intel user who's currently looking to use AMD for my first PC build.

So far I've chosen the Asus PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB and am considering pairing it with a AMD Ryzen™ 7 9850X3D. Regarding bottlenecking, how do I know if these two parts are a good fit?

Also, I aim to play between high and max settings at 1440p on a build that I know will last me a good while before I start thinking about upgrading. Given these two goals, am I overspending on the cpu?

Please help me choose between a 5070 or a 5070ti. My goal is to play a variety of games (FPS and single player titles) at at least high settings, or somewhere between high or ultra at anything higher than 70/80ish fps. Im not the type who wants to play everything at 4k on ultra settings with 90+ fps. Given that, would it be wiser to go with a 5070, given the price and performance differences between the two, especially considering what performance I want with my games?

Also, assuming I do go with a 5070, how long could I expect to run future games at the settings and with the results I want before future graphical demands would make me start considering an upgrade?

Lastly, regardless which of the two I pick, how do I go about choosing which manufacturer to stick with?

I am familiar with what component's I'd need to make a build, but how can I know if they are compatible with each other? I know some are obvious (like whether my motherboard will fit within the case I chose), but what about for the not so obvious ones like CPU and RAM compatibility?

I got an email from my school’s admin saying that I won’t be graduating because my GPA is .006 below the minimum required GPA. It’s not fun putting up with this while trying to do bar prep. The idea of not getting the JD I spent 3 years of my life working for due to such a small number is killing me. Idk what to do.

Why does everything that requires me to think feel like it requires too much effort? Mindless things like mowing the lawn or doing chores don’t have this sensation, but when I sit down to write an email or memorize something, suddenly it feels like I’m exerting myself trying to move rusty gears that barely move. I feel exhausted, like I have no energy to put into anything that requires effort. It feels like I’ve had to put in twice as much effort as others to do half as well as they did. Is this my anxiety or something else? My therapist suspected that I also likely have some depression, but I know its symptoms overlap with other conditions.

Im noticing that my answers for MEEs are pretty concise. In contrast, the sample essay questions from the previous exams that I get my MEEs from are a lot longer. Is this something that should concern me, even if I am accurately spotting the issue, stating the law, and applying it properly?

I haven’t been subbed for a while (and thus have not been paying much attention to the state of the GTN), but having subbed again recently and restarted the grind for credits, I couldn’t help but notice how little OEMs and RPMs sell for these days 😬. What are more efficient ways to farm credits aside from farming the tech frags for OEMs and RPMs?

3L here, graduation is in a few days. if this sounds stupid please be patient with me because I have terrible anxiety.

My GPA is .1 below what the school requires to graduate. I have one more final coming up, and after doing the rest, I have a feeling my GPA is going to stay about where it is. I’m honestly terrified I’m not gonna be allowed to graduate. Please tell me if this is a reasonable fear to have or not, or if it’s just my dumbass anxiety messing with me again. And thank you.
