I’m a bit puzzled and honestly disappointed.
I’ve been using the Suunto Vertical 2 for running (both road and trail), and I absolutely love the watch. Today, however, was my first time using it for open water swimming, and the results were way off.
The watch recorded only 85 m, while I actually swam roughly 700 m.
Has anyone else experienced such a huge discrepancy? Any idea what could have caused it?
I started the activity with a GPS lock, and the swim took place in open sea with a clear view of the sky. I’m wondering if this was just a one-time GPS issue, a settings problem, or something specific to open water swimming on the Vertical 2.
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I am experiencing an issue with synchronising routes created in Komoot. I am using the Suunto Vertical 2.

I create a route in Komoot in a paid and unlocked region. Suunto App and Komoot are connected. I have attempted to disconnect and reconnect the two apps several times and uninstalled them from my phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) without success.

I have also changed the name of the route created in Komoot, which I believed might trigger a sync, but this has not resolved the issue.

Has anyone encountered this problem previously?

It is noteworthy that the device was functioning correctly until approximately two weeks ago when all routes began to sync normally.
