I cut down a Bradford pear tree and had the stump ground, but I’m still getting sprouts popping up throughout the lawn where the tree used to be. I’ve tried pulling the sprouts, cutting them, and mowing over them, but they keep coming back. I’m assuming they’re coming from leftover roots under the lawn.
What’s the best way to actually kill these off without nuking the surrounding grass? Should I be spot-treating the leaves, cutting them and applying something directly to the fresh cuts, or digging out the roots where I can?
I’m in Ohio. Picture attached for reference. Any advice is appreciated.
So I have a very weird issue going on where my wireless remotes sometimes work but most of the time they don’t if they are outside of the garage. On extremely rare occasion, they won’t work inside but most of the time it is only if they’re outside of the actual garage. I thought that it might be an issue with my opener motor, but then I talked to my neighbor, and she mentioned that they have been having the same problem. The wired button on the wall always works, it isn’t a battery in the remote issue because I have Homelink in my truck so it just uses the truck’s electrical system which is obviously good. The opener is about 26/27 years old. I haven’t changed any lightbulbs or anything like that for there to be an issue. One thought that I had is that I noticed the city swapped our street lights to LED so I’m not sure if that could be part of the issue, but I am still having problems even when the street lights are off. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when the wireless pro remotes will work and when they won’t. Anybody have any ideas?
This may be the wrong sub to post us in, but the people who will know are definitely here. I have a set of Shure in-ears that I wear. One of the venues that I’m at as a public address announcer, I am able to plug them into my console and all of my comms are through the studio technologies console using the PA mic as the input, but at a different venue, I have a Reidl belt pack that I have to wear with a headset. Is there any solution to be able to add a microphone to work with the belt pack to talk with my producer? My initial thought was an XLR cable with two inputs one for my in ears and one for a clip on Mic of some sort, but I’m not sure if that is a thing.
Going through pregame prep for tonight’s game! Let’s go planes!
Here are the depth charts that I am going to be using to call the game tomorrow night. I use the flip card that is given from the league to build these so hopefully they are accurate but just a nice thing to have to follow along!
