Breed recommendations?

Hey everyone! I like to run 2-3 miles a day (hopefully longer distance eventually) and I’ve been throwing around the idea of getting a dog to accompany me on my runs. I’m a female - so running alone is not the safest and aside from concealing while I run I’d like some company. A breed that would make someone think twice about trying anything but also family friendly as I have small children. I am very familiar with bull breeds - I grew up with American staffords and showed Staffordshire bull terriers at AKC shows. However i have not had a dog in eight years.

I like the idea of a German Shorthair Pointer or a Rhodesian Ridgeback but I genuinely know nothing about them. Any suggestions? Thank you!

New RAV4 owner - my thoughts so far

I’ve officially owned a 2026 RAV4 LE in storm cloud blue for one week and here are my thoughts!

I absolutely adore the car, I traded my 2023 Hyundai Tucson limited for the 2026 Toyota RAV4 LE and even though I lost a lot of bells and whistles - the RAV4 feels like an all around better car. The ride is smooth, the steering feels so fluid and effortless, and the MPG is great. Initially I was worried that the room in the RAV4 was going to be cramped compared to the Tucson, but I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of room in the RAV4. The cargo space is smaller than the Tucson but not too noticeable.

Overall, If this is what the base model Toyota feels like - I can only imagine how great the the higher trims are! I simply can’t wait to add another Toyota to my family.

Getting back into running - need shoe help!

Hi everyone!

I feel like there is an overwhelming amount of information on what running shoe is the “best” and I need help from actual runners in order to narrow down my search.

I don’t have a budget, but I’m just getting back into running after two years so I don’t need the best of the best. I have very - kind of abnormally - long toes lol and raynauds disease so a roomy toe box is a must. And I’m planning on doing mostly sidewalk running. As for what I’m trying to achieve with running, I’d really like to run long distances so a shoe that is comfortable would be preferred.

I like the looks of the Brooks Glycerin Flex and Brooks Glycerin 23.

Are these solid choices? Do you recommend anything else?

TIA! 🙌

Car seat space in the 26 RAV4??

Hello everyone, I’m seriously considering a 2026 Toyota rav4! I currently have a 2023 Hyundai Tucson and the rear passenger space in my Tucson is fine for my rear facing infant and forward facing toddler. While I love the possibility of the RAV4 I’m wondering if it’s too cramped for the car seats. Any parents here have any insight that might be helpful is greatly appreciated!

Memorial Day incentives??

Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy a 2026 Hyundai Tucson hybrid SEL this month I know Hyundai offers the $500 military rebate year round. They also are doing the 0% APR for 60 months or the 3000 cash rebate this month. being prior military - I qualify for the 500 military rebate. My question for you all here is should I wait for Memorial Day weekend to see if they’re doing any additional incentives that I can stack on top of the two previous incentives I mentioned? Has Hyundai did that in the past? Hopefully this makes sense lol TIA!!

My local Hyundai dealership has a new 2025 Tucson Hybrid blue (base model) listed at $36,210 MSRP. Clearly the car has been sitting there for a year and I know it’s not worth the MSRP it’s currently at. They’re offering a special deal on that car, roughly $2,500 off MSRP. But still I don’t think paying 34k for that car new is worth it? Is it? What would your OTD price BEFORE the rebate be? I’m thinking 34k Before the rebate. HELP lol

Hello everyone! I’ve been on a vehicle hunt for a month now, looking to trade in my Hyundai Tucson for something with better mpg and lower monthly payment. I’ve been strictly looking at the hybrid version of the Tucson but I stumbled upon this sportage and now I’m in love with it lol

However, my parents are telling me not to get it because KIAs are easily stolen and because it’s cheaply made. Are these claims factual? Is there anything I need to be aware of about this particular vehicle that a sales associate may not tell me?

Also if it’s allowed I’d love to see your x-lines in the comments!! The terracotta interior has me in a chokehold! 😂

Thank you!
