Please consider zinc supplementation if you're not getting it regularly in your diet!

A lot of discourse about iron and B-vitamins when it comes to stimulants but not zinc

Zinc is rapidly used when taking a stimulant due to its usage in neurotransmitter binding and production. It also has heavy roles in the immune system and your hair, so depletion of it can have side effects beside just your vyvanse not working properly

However

It has a competitive association with some of the pathways used by Vyvanse, so make sure you take it at night rather then in the morning with your medication :)

A reminder to not overreact from summer league debuts

One of the most consistent things I’ve seen every offseason is fans overreacting to performances we see in the summer league for different players

How many players have we seen suck in the summer league and turn out great and vice versa?

Summer league is fun but no, someone is not going to be garbage because they did not play well in their first ever NBA game

Three ACC schools now sit within the top 10 for 2027 recruiting rankings

With Miami at #3, Clemson at #6, and Virginia tech at #7, the ACC has shown its mark early on in this recruiting cycle, what could it yield?

Virginia Tech now sits at 14th in the National Recruiting Rankings for 2027 and 30th for 2026 despite a 3-9 season —> Can it translate to wins?

James Franklin in one offseason has already proved to be the most effective recruiting force Virginia tech has seen since frank beamer by a long shot, but what will it yield?

His recruiting at Penn state was similarly plentiful but still led to pitfalls against the big opponents, will a weaker ACC help change that?

All questions that have no clear answer but would love to see the discourse around it

Assigning letters of recommendation after submitting

I just wanted to clarify this since I saw some conflicting information.

I'm getting a couple letters of recommendation and my committee letter in the start of june, but have everything else ready for submission.

If I add the letters after submitting can I still pick and choose which schools I want to assign them too? Or will I not be able to pick and choose with schools I want to assign letters to if I do it after submitting

Sorry if this is a dumb question I just got told conflicting information.

Would I note this as a repeat Course

So I came into college with the AP credits for two semesters of english, However I had massive issues with getting my AP credits in and english was pretty easy at my school so I just opted to take it anyway and get the free A. The credits eventually populated on my transcript in my sophomore year and such.

Now doing my AMCAS, should I note both my AP credit note and my college english class as repeat? Worried it might come out weird and cause my stuff not to get verified

How Fair Weather Celtics fans feel dunking on poverty teams

TD garden would look like a Ja Rule concert if the Celtics went through even one season of what the wizards or nets have to live through

Not to forget about EMT's as well, but seeing starting salaries for paramedics at 25 dollars an hour considering what they can do is truly absurd.

Reading EKG's, Being able to intubate, ACLS training, and overall working in a high stress and liability environment, its truly insane and makes it no wonder how 911 services are at a risk of collapse throughout the US

So to pose the question, What can we do to support our EMS colleagues?
