Dolomites while pregnant?

I am/was an avid hiker. I enter third tri right at the beginning of September so not really ideal timing to go to a beach destination with how strong the heat will be in Europe at that time, so as an alternative, we are seeking a mountainous region. Would a Venice-Lake como/garda-Dolomites be a good idea for 10 days? Are there enough easy hikes under 2000m altitude to do in the Dolomites? Alternatively if I really am not able to hike, is it worth going still to enjoy the mountains and views?

I’ll be 27-28 weeks pregnant at the time of travel and we are traveling from Toronto. Open to any other destinations that have beautiful nature, good food and direct flight from Toronto. Thanks!

[Routine Help] Never had dry skin until now that I’m pregnant. Help?!

I’m 33F and have always had oily skin so my whole life I’ve tried to manage that and used mattifying makeup products.

Now that I’m pregnant (18 weeks), my skin doesn’t produce any oil whatsoever. I have consistently had dry skin my entire pregnancy so far and it’s becoming a struggle knowing what to do with it! My biggest concern is my crows feet. I always had pronounced ones because of the way my face moves when I smile, but now that I’m dry, they’re extra exaggerated. Here is my routine, please help me create a more hydrating dry-skin appropriate one as I don’t know where to start:

AM:
- TO Argeraline on fine lines
- Skin1004 Centella serum or TO buffet copper peptides
- SPF

PM:
- Hado labo hydrating lotion
- Cosrx snail mucin
- Skin1004 Centella skin lotion

I’ll also resume using my red light therapy mask once my OB clears me for that.

What else can I do to quench my skin’s thirst and help reduce my fine lines around my eyes?

First real workout in 8 weeks went better than I expected

I’m 15 weeks and had a great full body lifting session at the gym today! I had severe nausea and vomiting in first trimester, which combined with the fatigue, made walking, much less working out, impossible. My energy is slowly coming back and I haven’t thrown up in a few weeks (still dealing with bouts of intense nausea) and I finally put some real weight on my back today (started with a couple bodyweight days over the past couple weeks). Squatting 100lbs felt so good, easy even!! I went much lighter than I usually can lift but I was hitting every muscle so I didn’t want to go overboard. I was just very proud of myself that I felt good, I lifted real weight, intuitively knew how to adjust and modify to feel good, and stretched at the end to feel limber and mobile.

I’m sharing this for all of you who were also afraid of taking a month+ off the gym and fearing regression. If you’re an experienced lifter, your strength isn’t going away that easily! I’m pretty sure I’ve lost quite a bit of muscle mass but I honestly don’t even care. I don’t care if I lift much less, it’s just genuinely therapy for me. Just had to share this positive story for anyone else who’s in the dreaded 1st trimester trenches - do NOT feel bad!! You will get back to working out eventually, in some way or another, and things will improve. Just rest now, and listen to your body. Most people’s bodies need intense rest in first tri and that won’t put you back significantly!
