Took her for a rip early AM before sunrise, traffic and the GA heat. Just perfect.

Odd GPU / Game Crash - Suggestions?

PC Info - Less than year old build from AI. AMD + Nvidia(5070Ti. Total hours of Pubg approaching 5000(hundreds on this current system). Three PCs now. Never had this issue that started last week.

While playing Pubg without any warning of a GPU issue the GPU/Game crashes. System still running(can chat on Discord no problem). Screens turn off. No Signal. Have to force reboot. After some research suggestion from older thread suggested to not just verify game files. But uninstall. Full reinstall. Did this. Played hours. No issues.

Next day. Boot up. Same issue. GPU / Game Crash. Uninstall the game. Reinstall. Play again with no issues for hours. This has repeated now endlessly. Assumed maybe GPU driver issue so did a clean install. Same deal. If I don't do a fresh install this problem persists. If I do. Can play as long as I want no issue. Until I turn off PC.

I did during research troubleshooting run the system status software. GPU is only seeing 62-66 degrees. So it's not near a thermal issue. I also ran half a dozen games and software benchmark tests with zero issues to test if it's a stress thing. I can play any other game with no issues.

What gives? Anyone have any suggestions? I would have assumed with a weekly patch/update plus driver updates would fix whatever odd issue this is. That someone is revolved for a single session by a fresh game install.

First issue using any Amex Platinum Credit via FHR Hotel

Early June the app I use to track usage of cards reminded me of the hotel credit. No worries decided to do a local night in Atlanta area with my wife. It was around our anniversary so worked out. Jumped on Amex Travel and scroll through options. Most I have already stayed at but not Nobu. It was just under $400 for the night. Perfect. Noted the extra benefits at this spot we could easily use. $100 credit plus free breakfast. Book it.

Randomly checked ~10 days later and credit was not there. Some Resy credits were and Walmart+. Didn't think anything of it at the time. My fault it turns out.

Check-in. Good stay. Good food. Good breakfast. Check out. About a week later I was doing something on account and notice the breakfast bill has posted to my account. Well this is an issue obviously. Start a chat. They say it probably wasn't a FHR. I make a dummy booking and screen shot where it clearly says this hotel is FHR for that night for one night. Agent transfers me to travel help. Long story short they say it either is not FHR or I booked a 'special rate'. Open a case and told I will get emailed or called.

That call came yesterday which is a few weeks. The lady was super nice and apologized but said Nobu is not FHR. And wasn't at time of booking. And currently is not as well. I did push back and say I have a screen shot of Amex Travel with a date(6/23) and time. Clearly showing it was FHR. So how could it not be a ~10 days before that?

End of day nothing they going to do. So I guess will have to book these and take a screenshot at time of booking from now on. Lesson learned.
