I have a crush on my best friends older brother.
My best friend and i have been been friends since October ‘24 and started hanging out February ‘25. We’ll call me ‘m’, my best friend ‘s’, and her brother ‘a’. Me and S are best friends who met through other friends. Our first hangout we went to barnes and noble, hot topic, canes, and then we went home. i saw him for the first time and it was the most awkward interaction. there was a song in the musical i was watching that had his name in it and we pointed and sang at him. i started to catch feelings in around mid july last year. i started noticing how he got me like no one else did. i was obviously very done with S nonsense because she was ignoring me and it was 1:00 am. what he said was, ‘don’t you get it s? she just wants to feel safe and secure with you? that’s all she wants.’ i felt for the first time that someone understood me. he could just tell by my tone. not only was he smart but he is also emotionally intelligent. lately i feel like ive just made a fool out of myself. stuttering whenever he comes up in conversation, copying his mannerisms, copying his style, etc. i feel like a mess. i just don’t know what to do. if you need any information on anything let me know.
