For those of you who live in Schenectady County- what is the pistol amendment process like? I looked at the county clerk website and I know you fill out the bill of sale form. Does it still need to go to a judge or does the clerks office sign off and give you your purchase coupon?

Looking for some opinions before I decide whether to call in a deck contractor/structural engineer.
This is a two-level deck attached to the back of the house. The upper deck sits over the lower patio/deck area. After winter, I was power washing and noticed some separation/gapping in boards on the lower level. I’m not sure if this is normal seasonal movement, composite/decking expansion/contraction, or a sign of something more concerning.

I have family in rensselaer county who co-own handguns and the same gun is on both of their permits.
My grandfather is getting up there so I was thinking of adding his guns to my permit to make things easier later on.
He’s in Rensselaer county and I’m in Albany county. I called the county clerks office but they were less than helpful and told me to call back when someone more knowledgeable is working.
