So we all know that all brahmin sub clans originate from vedic aryā mostly, and we all have been endogamous for over 2500 years. But soon many sub clans started marrying within their own group (like kp-kp, maithil-maithil, iyer-iyer, etc), this has lowered genetic diversity in us. So do y'all think we should start intermarrying with different sub-clans to diversify our genes and avoid genetic issues? Considering we are ~4% of India's population, so roughly 60-70 million of us. That's a very very big population pool, lots of youngsters. This will also create a pan india brahmin identity which can help in increasing unity and in fighting. Also it's not prohibited by any Dharmashatra because we all are brahmins at the end of the day. Also diet might differ, but I have seen so many vegetarian brahmins opting for a meat diet, so in a few generations, most brahmins will be non vegetarian anyways.

Hey so I have spent time with ML and done a few projects. I just wanted to make an open request, can i dm anyone and ask a few things about kaggle. I feel very overwhelmed and fomo after spending an hour on the website.

So i use tensorflow and keras as a beginner in deep learning. On this subreddit, i have read that tensorflow is dead nd stuff. why is that? and should i switch? if yes then when?

so I am decent at maths (cracked ioqm and rmo back in high school). i have not faced any difficultish maths in any ML algo or topic till now. Can anyone suggest a book which goes a bit deep into ML related algos and mathematics while also help build intuition. also it would be nice if that book contains some practice problems. Kindly help bigbros!

So I completed andrew ng's machine learning specialization course on coursera and did 1 project where I built logistic regression from scratch using loops and numpy (avoided vectorization to understand the mathematical intuition step by step). Now what should be my next course. I wanna dive deeper.

so the intellectual and spiritual pursuit of Hinduism, i.e. Brahmanism consists of the 6 major philosophies yog, nyaya, mimansa etc and others like Kashmir Shaivism. They are big achievements which were meticulously defined and refined throughout generations. like from 8th century bce till maybe like 14th century, multiple different philosophies were thought of and refined by respective schools. After 14th cen, Bhakti movement really hindered our intellectuality. The scientific pursuit was there too, but its understandable now that it has normalised due to modern science and globalisation, but what is the current state of our meta physical and philosophical pursuit? Like why has no new school of philosophy come out or being researched? Why are we engaging in bhakti so much that most of us cant even read and write in Sanskrit (i am partially guilty too). Also ICM is decreasing our population heavily. Sad State ngl.

i might be wrong, but i strongly link the rise bhakti and the fall of varna vyavastha as direct cause for this intellectual decline.
