I’m going insane

My BSH is 1 and he has been driving em insane for the past few months. He meows non stop and I assume it’s because he wants to be overly stimulated because we left him out (MONITORED) once or twice a day to get some sunlight.

We did leash training but it’s too dangerous as when he gets scared he runs and he’s almost choked once, so we just grab him when it’s time to go in.

Now he meows non stop day and night until bedtime and he won’t play with his old favourite toys or run around, I am running out of enrichment ideas too.

It’s beginning to give me anxiety because he’ll do it while I’m in meetings or on the phone or a migraine, I don’t know but it’s to a point I’m so anxious I cry about it. I can’t play with him 24/7 and I can’t get a second cat, it’s not financially possible for us to afford insurance, food etc I tried to calculate it and I also read it doesn’t necessarily help. He also does not seem warm to another cat, he hisses at any he sees near us even the sweet cuddly ones. Any ideas?

What do I need to change?

Started Reta end of Feb/beginning of March at 0.5mg, progressively titrated up, as of last Wednesday I took my first 4mg shot. I have only lost 10lbs since then… I have been on tirz and sema in the past as well.

But 4 months and only 10lbs? I’m definitely in a calorie deficit, I think sometimes I under eat and sometimes I eat at maintenance, but my meals look like this:

Breakfast - acv, lemon and black seed oil in warm water, depending on when I woke up I typically will fast until noon.

Lunch - 1-2 boiled eggs, baby cucumber, coffee or tea. Any fruit if I’m still hungry

Dinner - salad and a protein. If I’m very hungry I’ll add a complex carb, sweet potato, regular potato, basmati rice.

When I cut carbs out completely is when I noticed the 10lbs slide off.

I missed a dose last week because I ran out of bac water and I had the worst binge at the end of the week, feeling like I set myself further back than I already was. But once I got it I upped from 3mg to 4.

I walk about 5-7k steps every other day, lift heavy mostly legs, do pilates or yoga, (I was active before reta, but had knee surgery a few years ago and gained weight, can’t workout the same)

I assume either I’m under eating (which technically shouldn’t I lose weight faster?), not drinking enough water, or protein intake is too low.

I’ve naturally struggled with weight my whole life and had poor eating patterns (starving myself or binging) and I have lost the weight once successfully with my lowest being 145lbs. My doctor said my body holds onto fat for either stress reasons, or because of my eating pattern being inconsistent it never knows when it’ll get food LOL.

I’m 29, 5’6.5, 180lbs, gw:145-150.

Cheaper bac water?

Do you guys get your bac water from your supplier? My supplier for some reason didn’t send it to me this time also shortened me by a vial- super upset, it’s so hard to find trustworthy people, anyone know where in Canada I can get it from quick?

I just can’t seem to master Korean lash lifts!

I use the Noemi last lift kit and no matter what and who I do it on they complain of burning and the light never takes! I even leave step one on for liner than they suggest…

Also hope does everyone wash out the product?

Job Gaps when Applying

Hi everyone,

Do you leave job gaps on your resume? I applied for quite a few jobs but I have not been working since May of 2025, but let on my resume that I still currently work at my old position. I am freelancing on the side for my position and added that in. I’m applying for quite senior roles and a gap in your career (had a health issue and moved) is usually a hard pass in my industry. The job market has just been so bad since then, I literally haven’t gotten any call backs.

Depending on the company, I know they run background checks, would this confirm when I was let go?

If so, should I explain this in any interviews? Typically too much information is not a good idea, but I’m really lost at how to approach this situation. I was thinking to just say I recently left and began full time freelancing.
