In a live, P'New said he's already sent this novel to BeverTonliew for them to check out and if they like it, it could very well be their next series.
The Thai title is JaabJane, you might recognize the characters from the Step By Step universe. The novel is supposed to be feel-good, slice-of-life vibes.

For those confused about the concept of a mascot, they're essentially fandom representations and the artists treat them like their kids. They're life-sized and often interact with fans. Thailand has a huge mascot culture with several holding fanmeets of their own. GMMTV capitalized on that by giving their BL and GL pairs mascots of their own. You can purchase various mascot merch from their official shop as well.
You can also spot the official logos of all the pairs in the mascot images!
