JoCat Hacked: Google & Discord compromised, personal channel deleted
UPDATE: RESOLVED! According to this update, the hack was done by asking him to install a Minecraft mod, and the attacker was using the compromised account of VTuber BooBeeQueen. He was able to cancel a charge made to his PayPal, and his Twitter was compromised as well as indicated by his account sending "nvm i fixed it" to YouTube support in their DM conversation. He says he got a message from a trusted friend, so that person may have been got as well. His main and VOD channels are still up, likely since they were attached to different emails.
So far, he's managed to recover the Google account, but the channel is still gone and his Discord is still out of action according to this update: https://youtu.be/BXOTCHbHelA
He mentions in the update having an outdated 2FA phone number, meaning the Discord account may be toast.
Hackers & scammers have been prolific recently. I learned a hard lesson myself earlier this year. Stay vigilant out there!
