I thought bathrooms were locked on refurbished OSCARs

I thought as part of the refurbishment, the bathrooms have been locked. But I’m on a refurbished Oscar rn, at least I think it is, it has the orange paint scheme and the bathroom works fine

All the people in the comment section hating on America and blaming FIFA for hosting in America would jump on the first banana boat to come here if given the chance so let’s be real

What are your thoughts on the CommBank World Debit Card?

I am aware that services like UP and Wise provide travel cards for far better rates but, I travel quite a bit and I was looking into lounge access cards when I realised that the CBA world debit card gives access to lounges all over the world which would be highly beneficial

Has anyone tried the public transport on Uber?

Obviously I’m not going to switch to Uber for public transport navigation, but I recently found out that you can use uber to navigate public transport.

Was just wondering if anyone’s actually tried it for fun and how did it go? Was it accurate?

Can a company legally reject me because I don’t speak Chinese?

So I applied to a job at this boba tea place in Sydney for a part time position, nowhere on the listing was it said that speaking Chinese is a requirement. I speak English as my first language and I do not speak any Chinese. I was asked to come in and the interviewer started the interview by asking if I spoke any Chinese, and when I said I don’t, I was immediately told that I am ineligible for the position and to leave.

Is this legal to do?

Spotted an Air Koryo TU-204-300 going to Pyongyang

Was at Beijing Capital and while looking for my departure gate, realised that a air Koryo flight to Pyongyang was leaving a couple hours later pretty much right next to my gate

So here’s a pic I took lol. Idk, I thought this was a cool find, especially as I’m from Sydney, we don’t see many “exotic” airlines lol

I unfortunately couldn’t get any closer, I had my phone against the glass and the corridor you see is for arrival passengers. But still have a pic, so I’m happy

Does anyone else struggle to cycle down Kent Street?

So often I’m on Kent street cycleway, especially during working hours and there are always people walking on it, people not paying attention and crossing and even cars blocking the cycleway when pulling out of a driveway.

The amount of times I have nearly crashed into people is really high and honestly quite surprised I genuinely haven’t had a collision yet, and people genuinely get annoyed at me when I slow down and ring my bell behind them despite being on a separated clearly marked cycleway

It’s honestly really annoying and was wondering if anyone else had the same experience

Tourist/Expats experience at Beijing United Family Hospital

I’m a tourist visiting China for a bit, I’ve booked an appointment at the Beijing United Family hospital to see a doctor due to a medical issue and was looking for just some experiences from people who don’t speak any Chinese who have been there

Anyone done the 887

Im bored, so im gonna try out the 887 bus full from Campbelltown to Wollongong, has anyone else done this route in full before? Whats your experience on it?

Honestly, not expecting anything special, but I wanna do it because then I can say I’ve ridden the shortest (342) and the longest bus route in NSW
