Does a semi removed tattoo during the process bother you in public?

I was curious about once the process is started, how does one go in public when the tattoo is still there but also looks worn out, smudged or semi removed? Especially in visible areas like the neck.

Does one take days off when there are blisters in the visible areas? How is the process balanced with normal living?

I have been unsure about this tattoo since I got it (3 days ago)

Sometimes I am loving it, sometimes it looks awful to me. Is it because it’s on an empty neck and needs something to fill a bit of the neck. I wanted to get a text/roman numbers behind the rose under the ear running vertically. Will that make it look better?

It didn’t come out as I envisioned it because it looks heavier on the top and from a distance, looks like a dark patch. In the above pic it looks lighter but under certain lighting conditions it looks dark with a bit of unbalanced look (2nd pic). The second pic really shows why am I not liking it though it is a much fresher and darker tattoo pic. Also it’s a bit angled so the vertical text below the ear might not be parallel to it but in certain angles the rose looks very vertical so that is confusing me too.
