Funnily enough, I started out getting into sutopuri because of Satomi but most of the merch I find are of Nanamori... Of course, I also buy them because his specific merch is often very cute.
took a few months since my last post about these guys, but I finally got Layton today! I've got a triplet of Lukes now too, he's terribly stubborn, but I am finally glad to relieve my Layton-shaped itch.
Side note, has anyone ever made explanations behind why the puzzles have their specific answers? I never really liked how the Wiki and other sources would just give you the answer outright or not detail, step-by-step as to how to come to the conclusion. Sooo, I've been planning to start a blog explaining how and why, but I wasn't sure if someone already did it before me! Feel free to let me know if anyone would be interested to read about it :)
hello! I got these secondhand-- Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 G-1650, I believe and a Kyocera KYF37. I never really planned to get two, but I managed to snag them both for a really good deal, so I just went for it.
My mobile phone runs out of battery REAL fast, so whenever I go home late via commute, I usually need an alternate mode of communication, hence why I was on the hunt for a flip phone these past few months. Ireally love it so far, though, especially the cameras and so much fun texting or customizing it!
Also, if anyone's curious about the characters on them-- The Folder 2 is themed after the Professor Layton series with Luke as the tiny keychain. The KYF37 is themed after Tokusatsu GaGaGa's Shishi Leo, very reminiscent of Super Sentai/Power Ranger-esque characters.
I got him off mercari and I believe this was released with a special edition of the volume 15 manga. Tokusatsu GaGaGa was my first introduction to tokusatsu as a whole, so I felt super lucky when I found this!
Kinda sad that Shishi Leo and the other guys arent real, actual characters though. He quickly became one of my favourites from design alone!
So, I bought the World Collectable Figure Double online at a super discounted price (Converting my currency to USD, It went from $24 -> $5). Then, I also got the keychain figure from an online second-hand shop, and they both arrived just today!
The pens are manufactured by Kayou and are basically blind boxes with different pen designs inside. I got two while at a convention, because why not, and got designs from Kamen Rider Zetz and W.
I'm still new to Tokusatsu in general but I haven't felt so excited and hyped from a show since I started getting into it. Drive is my first Kamen Rider show (I'm still on ep 32. Kabuto, Gotchard, and Build are my next priorities) but he's really starting to become one of my favourites (And of course, I adore Mach, Chaser, and Kiriko).
Although, in terms of suits, I am a sucker for Gotchard's Steam Hopper. It's definitely my #1.
Anyways sorry for the small ramble. I don't have many people to share my growing love for the genre yet, so I figured I might as well get it out. Hope you guys also liked what I got :)
hi! the jdrama doesn't necessarily have to be tokusatsu related (itd be nice tho) nor similar in premise, but it'd be nice to hear any comedy dramas in college/office environments :)
