Security gate/bar in square tube - what to put inside?

To resist angle grinder attacks. Obviously nothing is completely secure against a determined thief, just thinking of a simple way to make it a bit more difficult to cut, for a door bar I'm making.

I've heard of putting a piece of rebar loose inside the tube makes cutting with an angle grinder difficult, as it just spins. Any other things people have done?

Litelok X1 material in sheet form?

According to their literature the Litelok has a "Barronium" composite armour that holds up to angle grinder attacks.

Is there a sheet material availalble that can offer a similiar resilience? And ideally can be waterjet cut.

Thanks!

Looking for a 250 4 stroke. Don't want to spend a tonne of money on it, will be used for the odd greenlane, so needs to be road legal, and potentially an enduro day or three per year.

Front runners are currently:

A 2013 Honda CRF250X, recent engine rebuild with papers, but last mot was 2021. £2,500.

Pros: easy to get parts, has kick start in case of emergency

A 2016 Sherco 250 factory, no real history to speak of, sold as "trade sales", MOT ran out earlier this year. £2,800.

Pros: bit more interesting, fuel injected, newer, more power (I think?). Dealer is 5 miles from me.

My main concern against the Sherco is parts availablity and reliability, which is never likely to be an issue with the Honda.

Anyone got any wisdom they could bestow?

Tia
