Europe recs?

My partner and I have historically really enjoyed Ischgl and St Anton/Arlberg, but haven’t skied elsewhere outside the U.S. We’re looking for a place to go in late Jan/early Feb. Here’s a list of our priorities:

-Not outrageously expensive to get to and to stay - we will be flying into Vienna, but can fly out of anywhere/use trains
-Excellent snow (for the time range typically)
-Terrain novelty
-Options to veer off the hard set runs reasonably
-Good ski rental pricing and quality
-Would be nice: cute town to explore with vegan options
-Not terribly crowded lift lines or at least not for the weekdays

Post your first and most recent work!

The left is the very first wheel-thrown pot I made in 2019, and the right is a super recent one! I lost my first pot for a couple years and finally found it

To fan or not to fan

My bff is getting married in Virginia in the middle of July outdoors. Her wedding planner is incredible and highly highly experienced. She insists buying handheld individual fans for the guests is unnecessary, as there will be cold drinks and overhead shading during cocktail hour and the reception.

What have others’ experiences been? My friend is super concerned about the heat and doesn’t know whether to listen to her planner or get fans like everything on Google says.
