how do we find dlc cars?

I just went to a junkyard with THREE CARS! I've used up all my barn cases. Bought almost all the DLC's last week and all I find are more bolts. Roadsters do appear.

Do things just run out after so many hours? Should I start over? Empty parking?

In 50+hrs since, I've done 2 Paganini's, 2 jags, a few Nissans. 3 Astons. Most of those were super expensive salvage auctions, and the Porsche I finally found cost over $70k salvage auction. Why can I count these cars in my head? Bolts haunt me.

I have the settings to spawn all locations. All dlc's are active in the menu. It's very frustrating, I want to do the new stuff I paid for.

Magazine/record store recs? Maybe that accepts donations/buys old stuff?

Hello!

I have a ton of national geographic and other magazines, clearing out my parents' house. and honestly adult mags, too.

some of the adult mags might be worth something, but I'm tired of looking them up. They're mostly in new condition, and out of the 200 I catalogued about 10-15 are worth more than $50. I want to sell them as a cheap lot (probably about 5-700).

National Geographic seems to be too common for anyone to want.... and man those mags are heavy!

also have about 500 records.

Thanks!

Success? Maybe? Neighbor came over and made me be productive

Cleaning house after parents died. Now I have a deadline, September. Yikes!

Dumpster Day 1... I've been thinking I was crazy getting a dumpster... it's so so expensive. But trying to declutter with one bin picked up every week is driving me nuts.

those pictures/frames were just two handfuls. Two handfuls that wouldn't be easy to bag and put in my bin. omg so much easier to just fill a 30g bin and dump it, no worries bout broken glass, no bags that tear.

Keeping a few, parents and grandparents were both artists, not to mention all the empty frames and canvases. And I have stacks and stacks and stacks. Forgive the cardboard, my recycle bin is full and I'm just so tired (Florida hot). So many pictures. Dad's elementary school report cards! Every single magazine the man had ever owned.

There was a corner (no before photo) full of bankers boxes... maybe 6x4x5. 11 were full of books, and serendipity had my book guy ready to get more! he's already come over and more books are going to better homes. Bright blue carpet under those boxes there for 15+yrs. Had to stop looking in the book boxes cause I wanted to grab and look...

Awesome neighbor helped, and this community. we can do it!

now i'm goin to get comfy and not move for a week. sigh. nah I'll do more tomorrow. with before pics.

overflowing dumpster bag

I hope posting these pictures encourage others. i like sharing, and I know seeing all your posts help me.

Today hired two organizers and spent 3killer hours in the florida heat of my garage. moved here in 1986 at 9yrs old. can't remember parents ever using the garage for a car.

bunch of junk stacked above our heads to start. found some brand new stuff. now i have so many empty containers, threw a lot of broken ones away, more books books books, found more baseball cards (kept) and my degree (trashed). More quilts and bears made by my mom to remember what she was like before dementia. did have a few boxes to keep, but also several marked to sell/donate. so many old computer parts and cables lol. four cd/tape players. few snes games, my nintendo dsxl i thought had been stolen. some pics from when i went to DC in high school (pics of me next to a beautiful reflecting pool before [redacted]).

still a ton of work to do. but it's been almost a year since dad died, and it means so much to see some progress in the house.

fyi dumpster bag not worth it. cost $30 and $100 to pick it up... I could probably put all this in the bins in 6-8 weeks... slow, but I thought it would hold more. I still have more trash!

ETA: oh I forgot to include the dumpster bag picture. well that's fun. idk how to add it now, but imagine it's FULL lol

books be gone, before and after part 1

The book dude was here.

we moved here in 1986 when I was a kid. this is just one wall of books... so many books. gotta get ready for construction to fix some important things in the house. I didn't even do anything... but it brought up a lot of memories. mom was so different than dad, poor trailer trash vs rich and well traveled... but they both shared a love of reading.

book dude is a miracle... my hands hurt just thinking about having to move things. he'll make sure they find good homes.

eta: plus a pic of my favorite childhood book <3

thanks for all the encouragement

It's nice to know I'm not alone, and to read all the encouragement yall give each other.

Inherited hoarder house after 10+ yrs of caregiving last year. This table has been pushed against the wall and piled high since before I moved back home, probly 15yrs. Got 4 visitors coming today to discuss some repairs. Finished with 3hrs to spare. I think 4 trash bags.

ETA: I've never had so many encouraging comments before <3 I was pretty down cause the stupid meeting was cancelled lol. Now I gotta get more before and after pics! Means more work, but hey. I'll get to post again lol :)

ETA2: Hey thanks for the rewards! Don't think I've ever gotten any before. means i gotta go clear some more junk!

MOH's vs non, ENT or Derm Experiences

Not sure if this is the place, but I've been curious.

in 2014 & 2018 I had MOH's to remove a lesion on my cheek. So... good and bad experiences with MOH's, and few other things that healed well or didn't, from one-and-done quicker procedures, but always by a Dermatologist.

Imagine my shock when I go to an ENT to talk about my hearing and I get (lovingly) chewed out about the lesion on my temple. hey this stuff cost money, lol.

I never knew ENT's do skin excisions? She also isn't a fan of MOH's.

I'm going to get it done, I don't care about scars and she's covered by insurance. This will be the biggest lesion I've ever had removed, and first one with an ENT.

what's your experience MOH's vs Not, Derm vs ENT?

thanks <3

filed for deceased intestate father, how do I get help?

I know I shoulda sent it in certified mail, but I didn't have any money 😞 This is the only thing holding up probate now.

Used FreeTaxUSA to prepare, but since I had to send in a death certificate and order of personal rep, I had to mail it in. Sent 1040, F56, DC, and order back in March. (FL, no estate or state taxes.)

Finally realized how long it had been when I got the other two remaining estate items. So I called to see what was wrong, because the findmyreturn thing didn't find it. I was able to get a person easily, and it sounded like I needed an F56 for the estate as well. Sent another order, another F56 for dad and his estate, certified this time, and my last death certificate.

Two weeks later I still knew nothing, so I sent in the entire tax return packet, certified this time, minus a death certificate. Also know now I only need the F56 for dad because his estate didn't generate any money.

Now I can't get anyone on the phone. It's been two weeks. The computer won't let me through because they can't find his return.

What else can I do? What number do we call to get a human?

I found the answer!

Have you been walking around Circle of Friends with 99% trash for 4hrs?

Have you completed the True Cleaner challenge with 99% trash?

Have you crawled around every inch of the first floor for 2hrs pressing q again... and again... and again... and again...

Have you tried to pick up those feathers several times, hoping they're like the oranges that you can clean up, yet not once glanced up at the proper angle?

Were you two seconds from abandoning the mission and crying in a corner... again?

Is this the only achievement you have left?

Do I have the solution for you, absolutely FREE!!

I found it, an arrow upstairs on the first floor by the red door.

Glad I could help.

No, this isn't about me.

Not at all.

ear perforation advice? tw for gross ear

Hello :)

Perforated my eardrum April 21 (foreign object + stupidity). Hospital said 'close follow up with ENT', which is mid June. Fun. The ear is so complicated, I don't really know what I'm lookin at.

How do you think it's healing? The white stuff on the right is new, probably normal but idk. 48f, diabetes almost controlled, ozempic, no other pmh

I do see a primary doctor (not mine) Monday because that's the soonest I could get in. I was given the burning evil eardrops at the hospital and one bottle of normal antibiotic drops which I completed. They pretty much stopped hurting by the end, though I could still feel it drip inside.

Keeping it dry. Can't hear bubbles or whistling when I blow my nose anymore. I can hear a little bit now, and tinnitus is not always agonizing as it used to be 24/7. No fever, I still think I feel drainage but rare, no foul smell, pain only occasionally.

First undated pic is May 1, the rest are dated ,and newest is today. Look good? Bad? Don't wait for ENT appointment?

thanks for any feedback :)

ideas for mosquitoes - help me :(

48 years here and I've never had this issue. I'm used to all the florida bugs and critters, but not INSIDE MY HOUSE!!

5-6 days ago I started getting bitten by skeeters. I thought I might have left the door open too long or something. But by now I have soooo many bites. I see them all the time. I can kill them if they're where I can slap em ... but this is driving me insane. worse than my perforated eardrum tinnitus. I don't go out enough, it's inside. THEY BIT MY FACE! nothing I can think of changed in that time.

Just had Terminix spray around the house again, he did say my lilies hold a lot of water, but they been there for decades. He agreed no standing water, no broken windows. Retention ponds are plenty far. I even find them in areas I don't frequent. It is a big house ... But I've checked under the sinks and I'm keeping water even out of the sink and dirty dishes. I found a few dead ones by the windows Terminix sprayed, but at the same time I slapped three more perfectly live ones.

has anyone ever had a mosquito infestation inside? There's no central location, I just see the most in the bathroom and kitchen cause the white walls. I'm getting bit in bed and at work. we have a new roof... Could they be in the attic and maybe coming thru the air vents? cinderblock house with central air.

any magic ideas?

howdy

moved here (a whole 3 miles) in 1986, own it in 2026. wild...

I got the homestead done.

because it changed owners, it will be reappraised, right?

what my house shows on zillow is $350k more than what my parents paid back then...

but I couldn't even sell it for $300k. Original windows & insulation (surprise!), dying hvac, dying water heater, pool filled in, plumbing and electrical issues... Dad wasn't one for maintenance, or letting a woman help him, and I was busy with caregiving. Now I'm learning so much scary stuff.

Is the appraisal based like Zillow is based? can I tell someone the problems and they take that into account? am I sol? will I be notified when the new appraisal will happen?

this will increase insurance as well, right? is that proportional do you think?

desperately trying to stay here... just scared of any more surprises.

howdy

Does anyone have ZERO revenue from Ads or Turbo the last few months?

Seems an odd glitch and curious if anyone else is having this issue.

I don't make a lot, but I saw the zero and thought that was odd.

eta: usually about $10/mo
