Sea Turtle Nests

Born and raised on Perdido Key. As a kid, 20 years ago-ish, my mom would somehow know when sea turtle nests were hatching and we would go out with our little red flash lights, where a group of other people would be, and we would watch them dig themselves up and make their way to the water. I have a family member coming to town who shared she would love to experience it. Some googling has led me to believe this isn’t public info. Did it used to be public? Is it really not now? Are we just SOL on sharing this experience? Thanks!

Mold ball growing in warm water

Unfortunately, my child and I have been drinking from this kettle that has been keeping water warm and have now noticed a ball of mold forming. What kind of mold does it look like? How do I sanitize this? (Do I dispose of it completely?) I feel so guilty my child is involved. I look in here often when I refill it, so I don’t feel like it’s been here for long, not that that matters obviously. Just seems like it grew quickly?

Underground collection tank

My parents just bought this house which came with these fountains. The water is circulated through underground collection tanks. There’s no way to access the water besides digging up the area. Any suggestions on how to keep this water clean?

Where are you putting the car manual / other pertinent books?

Title. The manual and other paperwork / books that come with the Palisade (‘26 Pali Cali) doesn’t fit in the glove compartment. Where are you keeping them?

[ID] Unable to add newborn to insurance during QLE period due to birth certificate delays

I had a baby on May 8th, turned in handwritten birth certificate worksheet on my hospital discharge date May 10th, and on May 19th I received the printed birth certificate worksheet in the mail to confirm/sign on the details of what will be printed on the actual birth certificate, which was mailed out to Vital Records May 20th. Idaho Vital Records says there is a 5-6 week delay in producing new birth certificates, even if I pay for “rush” processing. My employer is telling me if they don’t receive a copy of the birth certificate by June 8th, my daughter will not be added to my health insurance.

This doesn’t seem right??
