Space clicker just.... stops

After hitting tier 19 with every building, there is no option to uograde anything else. It says "Max prestige level reached".

It left me with fully uograded ice, bio, and fire, but not enough P to upgrade electricity buildings. I would guess I'd need another full round of prestige, maybe 2 to max that completely.

370 unused talent points with a maxed talent tree. All pets, 9/22 maxed. Almost at lvl 200 in all 3 mini games, I would guess another week or so to max them. 24/80 crew maxed, that's a while yet. And never got the final 2 equipment I'm missing, need 9 antimatter and after the last update, that seems to never drop.

So, unfinished game I guess. Mostly fun, but at the end it was basically let it run at night, cash in when I wake up.

Hetzner/Traefik/Headscale/Tailscale/Nginx/Docker/VMs/Proxmox - phew, am I doing it right?

Hi all.

Spent the last few months reading a ton here and elsewhere, wanting to get into a bit of selfhosting.

What I'm looking for in this post is either affirmation that I'm on the right track, or hints/warnings that I'm off track. If anyone has the time or energy to go into detail that would be amazing! but definitely not expected.

I managed to make my setup work. Then I tried to do some stuff to make it more secure and I broke it and now I can't make it work again.

Proxmox host (PM)

Bare metal

VMs running on PM (everything below running in Docker on each VM)

Gateway - Nginx, Tailscale
Media - Jellyfin, *arr etc.
Data - neo4j, postgresql, ElasticSearch
WebDev - repos, staging/prod (when I get to my pet projects)

Hetzner host (HZ)

Headscale
Traefik

Even have my own domain and managed to use it in all this. Was a bit sad that I couldn't CNAME myself into a solution like jellyfin.mydomain.bla

So, made it to a point where I was able to use my windows laptop with a tailscale client, open up a browser directly to jellyfin and watch a movie. Yay!

Then I went into security mode and read some stuff (including some LLM hallucinations) which caused me to start hacking away. And because I'm rusty and frustrated, and impatient, I forgot to make a save game. So I broke stuff.

Most notably, I started to remove things around Traefik, like "wait, is it really ok to have port 8080 just open like that?". And now I can't register clients to headscale anymore. I expect to figure it out tomorrow with a clear brain, but one thing I couldn't really find a great answer to.

If I need to keep 8080 open (especially when I start to expose some web apps later for more public use), but headscale should really only ever receive things which are targeted specifically for headscale (which should just be when a tailnet user registers, I guess?), what is the secure approach? Just setting up basic auth with a long pw in front of Traefik doesn't feel good enough.

Edit: Forgot to add, I'm behind cgnat with an isp who has all their IPs from Cloudflare, and I wanted to not use Cloudflare at all.

Any advice?

I usually have a somewhat short beard but decided to try growing it out. I generally try to keep it short on the sides and faded i to my haircut fade. I have pretty poor coverage below my mouth, and gaps on both sides between mustach and beard.

I have wondered if it would work well to grow out the mustache for real but it starts to look awkward really fast with all the open space below.

Have a pretty weak chin without the beard haha. So need the structure there.

Also not sure what to do with the soul patch area. Have a bit of a "dent" in the beard directly below it, so figured maybe the patch would fill that up if it were long enough?

Happy for any feedback and thoughts 🥰

Reaper's Gale - holy shit folks

>!Just finished reading chapter 23 and wanted to gush. Oh my god. I consider myself a very well read fantasy and sci-fi buff so have read my share of incredible battle scenes and epic conflagrations. But holy shit does the end of this chapter blow everything else away. The way everything comes together, the tragedy, the destruction. Just wow. Even though I'm not actually spoiling any plot details, I'm still putting this in spoiler quotes because I personally don't like hearing "I won't spoil anything dude, but chapter 23 is incredible!".!<

>! So don't tell me "just wait until X" or "This was the highlight of books Y-Z". Just let me gush with fellow Malazan fans. 😄!<
