For those of us on the job search, we need to know where the real toxic places are. Those are often the places that are always hiring for some reason. :)

Edit: Since this has become a topic, if you decide to tell us about your experiences and use the name of a business, you do so at your own risk and make sure you can back up what you write if that business decides to respond. Or just use hints. I don't bear any responsibility for how people answer.

But, there is no law against posting verifiably true things about a business online, either. ;)

You're also allowed to say "I worked in X and did not like it". It's fine. Chill.

Sooo some friends are coming over from abroad and I was thinking of making a reservation for us at one of the restaurants along Schiffbauerdamm, either Ganymed or Brechts Steakhaus so we can sit by the river.

What has your experience been with these places? Are they touristy and overpriced or are they decent?

Vielleicht kann jemand von euch mir helfen?

Ich bin seit 1.11.2025 in einem Firma als Werkstudent beschäftigt. Es steht in meinem Vertrag "max. 20 Stunden pro Woche". Im letzten Monate haben sie mich nur für 42 Stunden eingeteilt und dafür bezahlt. Ich war während der gesamten Zeit arbeitsbereit, aber sie sagte, dass es "zu viel Personal" gab.

Ich weiß ich muss einen neune Job suchen aber kann ich etwas dagegen tun? Gilt der Annahmeverzugsregel auch für Verträge mit "max." 20 Stunden pro Woche hereingeschrieben? Es gibt weder ein Stundenkonto noch eine spezifische Mindestanzahl von Stunden pro Woche.

Mein Vertrag lautet:
"Die tägliche Arbeitszeit richtet sich nach den Erfordernissen und den besonderen Gegebenheiten des Arbeitgebers. Dementsprechend kann die tägliche Arbeitszeit unterschiedlich sein."
