its not just darker color, the patches are way thicker and sturdier than the rest of the leaf
look at those petioles 😭 the soil was kinda dry and i watered it today. is this a watering issue or a light issue? she gets around 15000 lux through a sheer courtain at the brightest part of the day. water with rainwater and 1/2 diluted fertilizer when soil is dry
two different nodes have swollen axial buds. i also included a pic of a normal node for reference. i know that they rarely branch out after a cut, but i havent cut mine, so idk whats going on
each new leaf seems to be getting a progressively longer petiole and they are slightly tilted towards the light source, which can sometimes be a sign of etiolation. however they are all erect and firm, not floppy, so i cant tell if she is getting enough light or not. shes 2.5 meters away from a northwest window and gets direct light for like 30 minutes at noon and indirect light for the rest of the day. is she etiolating or just normal petiole lenght?
the sheath is going yellow and brown on only on a middle leaf, while the older leaves are doing fine.... is this because it sent out a root from that node/starting to mature or is it an early sign of root rot? the root you see in the image is 4 days old and the sheath started yellowing then, but im still worried. does anyone know
