Question about Figma + AI usage for those who work in a Fortune 500 company...

I'm about to start a new job and I'm genuinely curious in order to prepare myself on how everyone uses AI alongside Figma:

  1. How's your day to day workflow with Figma and which tools do you use?
  2. How has it helped you become more efficient?
  3. Any tips you can recommend to someone who's still learning Figma and AI applications?

Thanks for your time!

Did I screw up with this UPS? 900W UPS with 1200W PSU

So I bought this UPS:
APC UPS Back-UPS Pro 1500VA Sinewave UPS, 900W

Any my dumb brain thought that UPS would be enough for a 1500W machine, but didn't realize that it was 1500VA, not 1500W (it seems it's max rated to 900W)

This are my current computer build specs (Have only bought CPU... still have to buy the rest):

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
  • CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 G2 chromax black
  • Motherboard: Asus ProArt X870E-CREATOR WIFI
  • Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 128 GB (2 x 64 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36
  • Storage: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 4 TB M.2-2280
  • Video Card: Asus TUF GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB
  • Case: Fractal Design North XL ATX
  • Power Supply: SeaSonic VERTEX PX-1200 1200 W 80+ Platinum

Will this UPS be enough to shutdown my computer in case of power failure?

Or will it completely fail?

▲ 12 r/CPAP

I was diagnosed with "mild sleep apnea" and was put on a CPAP. But for the life of me, I cannot sleep with it... it's been 1 month already and I don't think I can continue as my sleep is GREATLY interrupted and I have been impacted by very bad anxiety, very bad fatigue.

If I choose to stop CPAP treatment, can I just return the machine without any implications (financial, insurance)?

Thank you!

I downloaded some assets from CGTrader.

A bunch of FBX files as well as OBJ + MTL. They were using Corona (and there's also V-Ray versions). When I open the FBX file, all of the materials are white and some of the material names don't match the texture files it came with.

Any clues as to what I can do to properly relink the textures?

Anyone know of a good corona to redshift converter? I'm lost so I would love some help!

After watching Office Space, I always wished there was a video game themed after it. I hope someone can make this game a reality haha.

The neck looks ok, but the sleeves look weird

Here's the 2d pattern view... as you can see, the sleeves were curved in order to avoid any puckering on the fabric... but this meant that the rib texture doesn't look right :(

I'm making a basketball jersey and I'm trying to figure out how to get the ribbing to look correct. I was able to get the neck rib to look right since the ribbing is perpendicular from the edge of the rib (creates a nice curved ribbed look).... but on the sleeves, I wasn't able to get the rib to look right (the rib is not perpendicular to its edges).

I tried to make the pattern for the sleeve ribs to be perfectly straight, but I got a weird puckering look, so I ended up going for a curved cut, but this doesn't allow me to apply a rib knit fabric without it looking weird.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!
