I just reached out to my old boss to beg for my job back

A month and a half ago I left my old job for something new. They advertised it as having more opportunity for growth and movement but the job does not fit my personality at all. I've never once been told that being kind to customers was a bad thing before this job. I reached out to my old boss to basically express my regret in leaving because I feel like a complete idiot for leaving and I really do miss my team and the work. Honestly the big issue is that I had a lot of imposter syndrome in that job and didn't feel like I deserved it and now I just feel so stupid. I don't expect them to give me my old job back but it doesn't hurt to ask, I guess. I apologized to him for leaving and said I'd understand if they couldn't or wouldn't take me back. I regret leaving and I feel so dumb.

Going to the dentist feels so violating

I have a dentist appointment today and I genuinely hate going but know I need to. I'd honestly rather go to the gynecologist than to the dentist. I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist, and I know it's probably because I had a lot of bad experiences with them. As a child, I would tell them that the local anisthetic wasn't working but they'd start drilling anyway. Come to find out in my adult life that I need to be injected in a different spot and then it numbs up right away, but as a kid, nobody ever believed me and just said I was feeling the pressure and vibration but not actual pain, as though I didn't know the difference. The same happened when they pulled a tooth. I've had so many procedures done where the local wasn't working and they just went for it and stuck me multiple times in the same spot over and over again injecting me with more Novocaine and it didn't start working until after my appointment was over.

Hello. I have an interview tomorrow for a new office job. It is in person. I have a mohawk style haircut and I like to keep the sides shaved and my hair is barely to my shoulders since I'm letting the hair I have grow out. The job is pretty laid back in terms of clothing and hairstyles, they don't care about day to day clothing but I'd like to style my hair to at least look nice for the interview. My hair in general is loosely curly and tends to get frizzy also I tried to blow it dry to test out how I'm going to wear it tomorrow but I think my hair looks stupid since I've always hated my hair. How does this look? I tried to get it straight by blowing it dry since all I have is a hair dryer, but it just ended up curling at the ends and I'm feeling really frustrated.

I currently have an office job, but it's fully remote so when I interviewed, nobody cared what I looked like since my head was completely shaved when I did so I didn't really have to worry about this😅

Every single time I go shopping online for a keyboard, I go to the customer posted reviews and I'm met with videos of how it lights up or people mashing keys or just taping the spacebar key over and over again. I just want to know if I'm spending way too much on a keyboard for work, how will it sound. Why don't people just type normally? This drives me insane. If I'm working in an office environment, will typing be loud and distracting to my coworkers? If I'm using it at home on my personal computer, are they dull and mushy sounding? I want to know what I'm buying before I buy it and very few people leaving reviews are actually providing helpful reviews. If you plan on leaving a review video for a keyboard, would you please just type on the damn thing normally so the rest of us know what we're getting?
