Trench food and how to avoid it

Yesterday i sadly dnf’d at km 80. Muscles were fine, energy was all good, but my feet were utterly destroyed because of shoe dampness. How does one avoid this? I wore wool socks, changed them, but bevause the shoes were damp my feet got damp immidiately anyway.

Tachycardia and thyroid

Hi, ive been experiencing long term hightened hr during any activities, be it running, sleeping or resting. Barely ever dips below 70 and goes to 210 when running. Im a 24yo male runner, not badly trained. Got my thyroid checked just in case and im confused by the results. Everything is in norm but TSH seems a bit low and T3 a but high, is this possibly connected?

T3 6.4 pmol
T4 13.9 pmol
TSH 1.4

Persistent tachycardia

Male 24, active endurance runner, ritalin 10mg ir morning and lunch, trittico (trazodone) 50mg for sleep
When running heart rate easily shoots up to 200+, average resting heart rate is about 80-100 during the day, during sleep i barely dip below 69 most nights, which is in my opinion crazy for someome thats well trained. Got my thyroid done, T3 is right on the upper extreme and TSH is right on the lower extreme but still in norm. Ive got an ekg holter scheduled as well as a stress test. Just very confused as to how this is possible. I have no chest pains, very rarely i feel palpatations (three times a year lets say) if i overtrain a lot and dont eat and drink enough.
Is it the meds combination possibly? Doctors are very dismissive of it all.
Has been going in for several months, at least ever since i got a smart watch. The readings are accurate, tested with several devices. Blood pressure readings usually about 130-120/70-50. Especially concerned since i have an upcoming ultramarathon.

Salomon bags

Im currently planning on doing my first ultra, 100k of trails. Frankly i doubt ill do more than 20k of actual running and plan on mostly walking it. Probably a dumb idea but its a thing we wanted to do with friends.
My problem is this: im looking to buy a bag for this, but dont really want a vest as i doubt ill ever use it again, and want to have the backpack for day hikes and normal use after, maybe a bit of trail running. Ive been looking at the cross 12 and the XT series of backpacks. Yes yes its better to get a vest but does anyone have any experience with these? Any other reccomendations?
