Wake from sleep with external keyboard/mouse.

New to the windows on arm experience and sleep/wake seem to work pretty well when I'm just using my lenovo spin 3x as a notebook, with the built in trackpad/keyboard.

When I'm using it as a desktop with an external usb mouse/keyboard/monitor, however, I'm having issues. Most of the time the external mouse/keyboard won't wake the notebook, and often when it does wake (whether by external device or the built in keyboard) the external KB/Mouse may not work (sometimes one or the other, sometimes both). Sometimes I get multiple usb connect/disconnect chimes/sounds.

I've de-selected "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power," on the usb devices/ports. "Allow this device to wake the computer." is grayed out on the devices/ports, so I can't do anything there. I'v tried with fast startup enable and disabled. Both windows and lenovo's built in software tell me all drives are up to date. Bios options are pretty limited and I don't see a wake option on usb in there.

Right now I'm having to hibernate as it's the only guaranteed way my external mouse and KB work after startup....

Adding unavailable safari extensions to jailbroken ipad mini 5

Hi, jailbreak newbie here. I want to add the zoom extension (magnification extension, not the teleconferencing app) to safari on a ipad mini 5 16.5.1 but when I try I get the error msg this extension needs iPadOS 26 etc.

I'm not currently jailbroken on the mini 5, but want to leave the option available for the future. My question is can I install unavailable safari extensions if I jailbreak, and how to go about it, if it's possible.

I'm also open to other suggestions on how to get the extension into safari. It's in my purchased list, but I still get the error msg. The testflight for it is currently closed, but I know it was available to iOS at least as far back as 15 (at least in beta). I'm also emailing the author for suggestions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I feel like the zoom extension really improves my web browsing experience, especially on a smaller screen like the mini.

Return must be initiated the same day package received?

I grabbed an ipad from a seller that listed;

“Selling as is maybe working, we received them as a customer returns, we only guaranty that the" goes on to say screen good, may be clear may not etc.

Under shipping, return, and payment it lists 30 day returns, but there was some ambiguity in the listing description down at the bottom. So verified via message with seller 30 day returns.

Today I received the ipad with a heavily damaged usb c port (didn't have any pins, just an empty cavity). So I went to initiate a return and it said return has to be initiated the same day I got it (22nd). WTF? I had to do a couple of double takes....yep june 22nd, not july. What is going on here?

So I know ebay changed their policy a few months back where you have 3 days to return a "for parts/not working" no return item(s) if not as described. But I've never seen a same day return period or one that is blatantly different from the listing description. And probably 90% of the items I bought from ebay are listed as non working but had a 30 day return period.

So I'm just confused. I'm sure I'll be fine in this instance, but since when does ebay have a same day return period...I'v never run across this and wondering if it's a system glitch, a new return category or ???

Because honestly I feel like the circumstances here could have really easily Fd me up, basically fraud.

Grabbed a Mac Pro 2010 and want to install Windows 10

Picked up a 2010 Mac Pro (and thunderbolt display). I know some (a lot of?) peeps don't think the cMP is worthwhile, but for $100, 128GB of ram, 1tb ssd, gtx 680 and 27" tbolt display, I'm happy with it (plus there is a nostalgia factor here).

I want to dual boot with windows 10 (mule 2nd account for fo76, doesn't have to be speedy) along with my Mojave, but perusing upgrade guides/vids I see warning about bricking the MP during windows installation.

I'v checked on bootup and I don't see any drive other than the ssd (no opencore efi drive/partition). And no opencore app in applications. So I don't think opencore is in the mix, and I believe other than a mac bios on the gtx 680 there are no hacks/mods to the cMP or OS.

Are there any other "gotchas" I need to look out for, or a good resource(s)/guide(s) that could walk me through the caveats and the process for a win 10 install...that are reddit cMP member recs?

I'm not super mac savy, just getting back into the ecosystem, so I apologize in advance if these are stupid questions...just don't want to brick my new (old) baby

Android 16 soft/virtual keys app not working (Button Savior)

I'm using a virutal/soft key app called button savior on a onn core 8.1 tablet with android 16. It would appear that something in android 16 or walmart's implementation of of it, is preventing button savior from working correctly.

I has accessibility access activated as well as window overlay, and works on it's on settings page, but when activated on the home screen or any other app, it will display but none of the buttons are functional. I have 16 on my pixel and don't have this problem.

I was wondering if anyone familiar with android 16 might be able to suggest a setting to tweak or something to adjust with adb. Any help would be appreciated.

While androids gesture navigation isn't bad, I have years of muscle memory with button savior and have used it with every android device (with a screen) I have owned.

Hi. Happy with battery optimizer, works great on the mac side. I was wondering if there was a charge limiting app for windows that bootcamp peeps might recommend. I keep my macbook pro 2015 plugged in more than 90% of the time.
