Roommate treating plant pot as it a garbage disposal

I was cleaning home today and wanted to water the plant. I noticed some weird stuff on the dirt, so | just started to clean it up until I found bunch of garbage!
One reason I don't have plants in my room is because I don't have time to take care of them, meanwhile my roommate treating this poor plant as a garbage disposal.
I've talked to them multiple times and told them that if they want planet indoor they should be taking care of it.

Chem250 vs chem255

Hey, I have a question for those who have taken both classes of organic chemistry (250&255). How did you find chem255 compared to chem250, is it more difficult or have same level of intensity? Cause I’ve taken chem250 and planning to take 255 with intense courses so I was wondering if anyone has a thoughts about chem255!

200kg Machine landed on my hand at work, miraculously left me with a minimum damaged

I can't even understand how my hand survived that huge machine with a minimum damage after the machine trapped my hand beneath it! (I lost sensation of my hand but there is no fracture). H
When the machine trapped my hand, I used all my body weight (relaying on shoulder strength) to lift up the machine so I can free my hand. I was expecting to see a smashed tomato but glad I didn’t.
Later we needed 3 employees to lift up the machine to its normal position. I don't even know what to call it but I'm glad my hand survived it.

Edit: Right after the incident happened my manager told me to take rest for minutes and get back to work!
So I asked to fill in an incident report and my manager hits me with “i don’t know about it I’ll just ask the area manager”. Provincially, we do have an incident reports all across the country even for a small cut.

On time for my scheduled shift but my manger hasn't showed up yet and I've been waiting for 40 min

Basically the title. I texted the head manager and no response yet, and the other manager on vacation. This happens all the time and I talked about it before. Usually I show up earlier before my shift starts, and if sometimes I'm running 10/15 min late I'd get a warning! What's making it even frustrating for me is that I don't have a car and now I'm waiting on the street.

Matcha

I just noticed that the new Matcha on Tim’s menu is seasonal which means it’s not staying too long. So I was wondering, would it be possible that they make it permanent on the menu?

I really liked it and hoping they’ll keep it!

22F first time having this low bp with hard time to breath

My normal bp is usually around 140/100. Now I’m feeling like I’ve run a marathons and extremely exhausted, getting out the bed sounds like torture. So I checked my bp and it’s……. (I’ve had a salty meal 2h before checking)

Declaring a major

Just a heads up in case you’re still on the fence, don’t declare a major until you’re sure. Once you declare, registering for courses esp ones outside your major can get a lot more restrictive.
If you’re still working through your 100&200level requirements, there’s really no advantage to declaring early. You’ll save yourself a lot of frustration. USask reserves seats for students in certain majors anyway so declaring too soon can actually make course registration more difficult.
You can always declare your major later like in your third or even fourth year once you’re confident about your direction.

Biomed students: how did u complete M3 requirements by the second year?

I talked to an advisor yesterday and they advise me to complete M3 requirements if I’m wishing to get into a major by the third year and finish during a period of 4 years.

Basically that mean I have to take bmsc200, 210, 207, & 240 during the fall and bmsc208, 220,& 230. Additional to electives.

It’s obviously heavy year and I was thinking how other students made it? Please any insight on what is best to do?

What does "ineligible to register" in the plan section mean?

I'm trying to do a plan so in the morning I can register for classes but all the classes I'm adding saying "ineligible to register" even though I checked the prerequisites. Anyone have an idea what it might be? Would it affect my registration?

Anyone else notice a vibe shift when they mention med school?

Got a question for people who are planning on going into medicine.
Have you ever noticed that when someone asks what you’re planning to study and you say “I’m hoping to go to med school” their reaction kind of changes esp if they’re also planning on medicine?
Honestly, I can’t think of a single time I’ve said it and didn’t feel the energy drop a bit. Lowkey it’s been getting to me. It stresses me out because this is my future and I’m putting so much time and effort into working toward it.
Why do some people react like that? And how do you avoid those awkward reactions without lying about your goals?

Prerequisites

I’m planning to take bmsc 240, 220, 230, 110… in fall semester, I’m already done with the other classes but bmsc 200 and it’s prerequisite for those three courses, so I was wondering would I be able to take the prerequisite with the course at the same semester or I have to wait till next semester?

Deferred exam

So is the deferred exam made up by the college or by professor. Should I keep in mind studying the same criteria that was assigned to the final? Please help, this deferred exam is killing me:(
My professor said there would be only 10 questions from materials before the midterm so should keep that in mind or something?
Excuse my question but I’m lost
