More garbage cans needed.

I have three things I would like to see improved in future years. One is the map on the app. It was horrible. No legend. Lame. But I never actually needed to use the map, so really, who cares.

The main issue i had was the lack of garbage cans. The hand washing station beside the porta poties in the forest. Wash hands, dry wirh provided paper towel... but no garbage can.

Also a garbage at the entrance to tue dance floors at Slay and Cabin would have been super nice. Only garbage starions were leaving the licensed areas from what i could tell. A garbage behind/beside the sound booth at slay would have been super handy.

Third: only having the one small porta porty bank by Somewhere was NOT adequate. MOAR!!!!

PSA: calm down. By Monday, you won't want to leave.

Yes it is hot. Yes, we warned you of the wait times. Yes, camping is a free for all and people claim big areas.

No, none of this matters. Music doesn't start for close to 48 hours. You got nothing but time and when the stages do open, it is worth it.

This sub (and the Facebook group) is full of countless comments warning of the shit show that is arrival (and exodus). It is to be expected.

I guarantee you that by Friday night you will have completely forgotten about today's stresses, and by Monday morning you will not want to leave and have bought your ticket for 2027.

Signed - someone who couldn't go this year. But please keep complaining, it is good entertainment.

'Wook flu'

Ive been attending festivals since I was a teenager 30 years ago and never got hit with anything until now.

My wife started feeling off throughout sunday and had to shut er down at 10:30pm sunday night. I didn't start to feel symptoms until the drive home yesterday.

Last night was horrible, as is today so far. Fever, cramps, chills to sweats and back, dissy headache, painful phlegmy cough, inability to concentrate.

What did Bass Coast do to me!?

Anyone else got whatever this is?

Im thanking the easiest way is to convoy with someone for these? Online racing ain't gonna get it done and I don't have any friends....

To grt the link skills, I can't just do a barrel roll bear someone, we have to do it together, correct?

Averages after 25 spins with the 22b

Tracked my superspin wins and kept the average for 25 super spins.

I won 15 new cars (1 being a legendary).

Average $/spin profit after accounting for the $81,700 cost of the spin: $47,000

Average including the cost of the new cars won: $200,022.

Took 15min to get 5 spins: getting the mastery points, buy the cars and collecting the spins.

I think it is profitable overall, but I think im gonna go back to racing. Not exactly a fun process.

E&N land grab. Theoretically, how much to buy it back.

Considering the initial land grab happened over 100 years ago, was an inside job and has traded hands a few times, also as inside jobs, or at least with zero interference from the government, and lastly, has, to my knowledge, never come up in conversation in today's times in government, it is safe to say that the BC government will NEVER force the capitalists hands and simply take the land back. (Holy run on sentence!).

So if, in the highly unlikely scenario, discussion ever comes up at to whether the government might ever consider buying the land back and reverting it to crown land... how much do we think such a thing would potentially cost the tax payers?

It is something like 800,000ha, which is huge... but: logging and mining can still happen on crown land, and there wouldn't he a need to put it back up for bid. The companies currently operating could still do so... just not own it.

Is there any kind of precedent that could give us a ballpark figure? How would we even figure out a $ amount for such a thing, and lastly, would that price tag actually be worth it for us taxpayers?

Obviously, the ideal situation would be for the government to grow a pair and just take the land back, but thats just never gonna happen.

Where are the OTL's?

Am I crazy or are there no OTL challanges this week.

Especially considering that one of the weekly tasks is to get goals in OTL.

This map is just... so good.

Finally got around to doing the Goliath and I would like to hope that this game has broken the curse of "this game sucks, the last one was better" on repeat.

Personally I think this map is the best offering since FH2. Sure, FH3 was fresh and the different biomes were great, which this map does kinda lack (but so did 4), but the map design in 6 is so good that diverse biomes arent really needed. Racing games need good roads more than diverse scenery, and I feel like this game hits that mark so well.

Looking forward to wuat the community does with this map in event Labs as time goes on.

Race on!

There are two kinds of....

Unless a meta car just so happens to also be a car I want to drive, I will never use it for online racing. Also, if I get 5th in a race, but 1st to 4th are all using a meta car, I consider my race won at a personal level.

How 'bout yous? Meta or vibes?

At this point, I refused to touch the Honda Beat just out of principle. Yuck.

"Complete own the lot challanges" task.

Whats up with this task? I finally got the 15 one completed and am currently at 17 of 35, but is it like bugged or something?

I know for a fact that i never personally completed the "3 modified handplants" goal in the waterworks OTL, so when it came up I made sure to complete it (and managed to complete 18 goals that session. Yet, I am still sitting at 17.

I know it is not a task that requires me to be in a party cause I just did a solo waterworks moments before and went from 15 to 17 goals completed.

So what's the deal?
