Does anyone else ever feel trans both ways?

Sometimes when I feel fem I feel it the way I assume cis girls feel it, but other times I feel it explicitly the way I assume a trans girl would experience femininity

I really dont know why my brain makes that distinction, obviously I know that all girls are girls and theres no reason why a trans girl would be a girl differently than a cis girl is a girl, I'm just always aware when my gender does a 360 on me like that

The distinction is usually that I'm more comfortable in it -- usually when I feel fem it feels slightly invalidating, I always get scared I'm never going to come out of it and it'll turn out I was actually cis all along, but when I feel fem in a trans way, it's more intense, as if I'm finally able to be percieved how I want to be percieved, like I've had to discover my feminity for myself. It has the same flavour as my masc genders do, just mirrored on the gender spectrum

Sorry if this makes no sense I fear it was just yap

Gear for snake essas?

I rlly want to accessorise my essa but i'm struggling to come up w something that wouldn't slide off. Thoughts?

Slight vent but not rlly

I really want an essa and I have a plush that I would love to make my essa, the thing is shes pretty old and has a giant rip down the middle from when me and my brother accidentally tore her inhalf that we never managed to properly repair. I would find another one but I've had her for almoat 10 years now and replacing her would feel like a betrayal. I've tried to get rid of her but it never lasts long and I always dig her back up again after a few days.

Not really looking for advice outside of maybe a sewing lesson lol, just needed to get that off my chest

How do you figure out what you look like?

I know lots of fictionkin folks just look like how their kin is presented in the media they come from, but I've seen some change details about their own kin's appearance compared to the original from the source material, even things as small as their eye glints (folks with animated kins). How do you identify these differences?

Could a notebook work as an altar if you can't have a tabletop one? (hear me out guys please)

As a PSI, I'm aware what I'm suggesting wouldn't work for a reconstructionist praxis, so please don't comment that if you were going to.

I had an idea where you could use a notebook as an altar rather than having a traditional tabletop one and wanted to check if it was stupid or disrespectful.

My explanation -- the only requirements for a valid altar (to my knowledge at least) are some kind of iconography representing the god, and a dish for offerings. In a notebook, you could have a charm attatched representing them, or place it by a real statue, and then the paper itself would be the 'dish' for your offerings (ideally accompanied by libations, votives etc) -- people already have art, poems, written prayers etc on their altars, so I don't see the issue with having tham all in one place.

It wouldn't have to replace an at-home physical altar, but I think it could work as a portable version of one, especially since the nature of the kinds of offerings it requires means you can worship practically anytime.

What do we think?

How do you pay to cross the Styx nowadays?

This question has been bugging me a lot recently -- it might be silly but it worries me when I cross the street if I get hit by a car and can't enter the Underworld because I don't have a coin on me. Do I need to aquire an actual obol, or would one unit of my local currency do? Or does it need to have the same value as an obol?

Also, is it one obol or two? Some sources I've found say one obol was placed in the mouth of the dead at a funeral, but others say one was placed on each eye?? I'm so confused 😭

I have tickets to the remount of TGWDLM and I planned to go in cosplay as Hidgens (essentially just a jacket and wig). I went to IBCIBALLTAY where I saw Lord in Black cosplayers (very large elaborate costumes) so I thought it would be fine. However, I recently heard people complaining about TADC fans going to see The Last Act in cosplay and got cold feet. Is it fine if I went in cosplay?
