Here’s a handful of World Cup Kansas City experience shots using all sorts of different lenses, 20-35,63 and 110 I think?

I posted about getting the 20-35 for covering the World Cup in kc and it’s been really a fantastic tool for that. There’s so many moments where I’m either in a pile of humans or need to show a really intensely large crowd in a cityscape. These are from today’s orange parade with the Netherlands team. I was swapping between the wide on one body and either the 63 or 110 on the other and loved how it turned out. These are all the wider angle images.
Got up to this scene and love seeing all the press reaching in to interview these fans. Apparently the guy in orange glasses is a somewhat famous fan who travels from the us to all the Netherlands games.
Ironically the lens that I returned because I didn’t think it fit my shooting style is the one I will end up needing this month more than ever for some projects. I forgot how solid the thing feels, internal zoom and all. Can’t wait to use it one some architectural and documentary projects this month.
Mostly shots of the pit, this was so wild to try and get the AF on a 50r to actually work. I used the 45 and 63mm, the flash comes from my tiny godox it30, and I was dragging the shutter to try and show off the mayhem. Sometimes using the wrong gear for a situation is the most fun you can have.
Recently I saw keh spamming me with this ad when researching another camera. I clicked on it because tbh it’s an OK price. Then it leads to a listing for one selling at what was higher than the launch retail price. Such a dumb way to lose my business, probably forever. I’d rather deal with the Wild West of the internet than overpay at keh, especially when tricked into a web visit.
So I'm midway working on something and have chopped up a sample. I hit shift and convert and there's no option to save as a new program. I can save as a new drum track using slices, create new samples, audio track from samples, assign slice to pad, sample to pad etc, but no new program. I want to be able to play the slices as their own unique sound, with no chokes, add filters and pitch each one as its own thing. I guess the MPC flow isn't hitting today and I'm not sure what I'm missing on my key 37. Its been a few years since i had an mpc and i'm like on hour six of setup since i got it used and i'm super frustrated here.
