PA School Loans

Hey everyone. I will be starting my PA school Jan 2027 and I am not sure what to do regarding loans/ paying tuition.

Total 28 month program cost is about $160K.

With Grad Plus being cut, what are my options? And how soon should I apply to make sure everything is in place?

For current PA students who have been through this, how should I proceed, what should I look at? And are there any scholarships I should start looking into?

Thank you!

TurboTax failed to remit my extension payment. Pay1040 won't let me select "Form 4868 Extension" anymore. Do I just pay as "Current Tax Return / Balance Due"?

Hey everyone, looking for some quick confirmation here.

I filed an automatic extension (Form 4868) for the 2025 tax year through TurboTax before the April deadline. I put in all my banking info at the time for my total bill of $460.

Well, it’s now mid-May and TurboTax just notified me that my payment was never actually remitted. Complete tech failure on their part, so my balance is still outstanding.

I don't have enough tax history from the prior year to use IRS Direct Pay, so I went to Pay1040.com to just pay the $460 with a credit card. However, because we are past the April due date, the site gives me an error blocking me from selecting the "Form 4868 / Extension" payment type.

To bypass this, I selected:
• Tax Form: 1040 Series
• Tax Form Option: Current Tax Return Year
• Tax Year: 2025

Two quick questions for the experts here:

  1. Is paying under "Current Tax Return Year" the correct way to route this so the IRS credits it to my 2025 account alongside my filed extension?
  2. Should I manually add any estimated late penalties/interest to the $460 right now, or should I just pay the flat $460 and wait for the IRS to bill me (or ask for a waiver due to the TurboTax glitch)?

Appreciate any insight!

I recently got hired about 3 weeks ago at Wells. Doing all my online classroom training, and its extremely boring and a drag. Sometimes I will go on my phone to scroll reddit or just get stuff done. (I know I shouldnt but its so excruciatingly boring).

Been told by the BOL and BM that I cant be on my phone and everyone at the branch is scared to go on it to where they go to the bathroom to be on their phones because “cameras are watching “

How serious is this?

Im coming in from Chase, we had a no phones infront of customers rule because you dont want them thinking youre on your phone and not helping them etc, but I sit in the back in an office behind the teller line.

Are all branches of Wells like this? Also new to the company so would appreciate any other written/unwritten rules of the company culture….

Hey everyone,

I left Chase for WF, <1Y mark. Chase licensed me, but havent asked for the $2K back. I left first week of April.

Dont mind paying them , but they havent asked. For those who have gone through this, do they send a bill in the mail? Should I be looking out for an email or call?
