Supreme started working with American designer Jeff Hamilton in 2022, kicking off an on-and-off collaboration on highly detailed and expensive jackets.

We’ve since seen 4 different iterations, each with an entirely new concept and design highlighting its respective season.

Behind the design of Supreme x Meissen 📚

This season, Supreme has brought back a prestigious collaborator to pay homage to an iconic past release.

It is none other than the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite 1 being honored. The original pair and capsule, released during Spring/Summer 2014, sparked massive hype that drew thousands of people to the Lafayette Street store. The crowd became uncontrollable, summoning the NYPD to shut down the launch and forcing Supreme to release the collaboration online only.

It wasn’t the first time crowds flooded the store, similar chaos erupted for the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low in 2002 and Dunk High in 2003, along with several other collaborations and Box Logo drops over the years. However, it was the first time the NYPD straight-up canceled an in-store release.

You shouldn’t be a stranger to Meissen, either. Supreme previously tapped the German porcelain manufacturer in Spring/Summer 2019 for the Hand-Painted Porcelain Cupid Figurine, and again in Spring/Summer 2022 for the Hand-Painted Porcelain Mirror. They also collaborated on the Supreme x Wu-Tang Clan RZA Mug and Tray.

For the Fall/Winter 2026 season, the two brands are finally teaming up on apparel. The collection features a 2-in-1 GORE-TEX Shell + Reversible 700-Fill Down Jacket, Jacquard Soccer Jersey, Jacquard Soccer Short, and Jacquard Baggy Jean, all paying homage to the 2014 Foamposites with intricate artwork characteristic of Meissen’s craftsmanship. The same pattern also appears on a WINDSTOPPER Balaclava, Beanie, and GORE-TEX Camp Cap.

Behind the design of the Supreme Crucifixion 📚

One of the best designs this Supreme season is definitely the Crucifixion print, which is used on a polo, sweater, painter pants, and skateboard deck.

The design is a combination of two paintings by Jacopo Robusti, better known as Tintoretto, an Italian artist from the Italian Renaissance. Both paintings can be seen in person at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice.

As mentioned, the print is indeed a blend of two artworks. The first one, representing the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ and painted in 1565, is used on the lower part of the polo, for example. The second artwork is L’Erezione del serpente di bronzo, made between 1575 and 1576, which represents the snake raised by Moses in the Old Testament during the crossing of the desert; it is used on the top part of the Supreme design.
