17F I'll be honest first: This is my first time offering my skills to side hustles/commissions, but I have lots of experience so might as well give it a try!

I am not super desperate for money. My goal here is to experience paid work as early as I can and learn from this to enhance my skills.

MY SKILLSET:

-Video editing (Capcut only :( PC cannot handle premium softwares) (Any form of video content! But limited on VFX cause Capcut may not suffice)

-Creative Writing (Essays/Stories/Screenplays/Articles/etc!)

-Graphic Design (Canva)

MY EXPERIENCE:

-I am a volunteer at my school and that requires me to edit videos for them sometimes.

-I support my school's student orgs by providing media marketing material for them when asked.

-I am the head for the broadcast division of my school's publication and have not only edited and written 10+ broadcast eps. but have set the style and editing standard.

--I am the Assistant Editor-in-Chief at my school's publication, and I've written numerous featured articles.

-I have deep interest in filmmaking, so I've written, edited, and directed a few short films, but I am now mainly mentoring my juniors into filmmaking on how to write screenplays and edit their films.

I'm not applying yet, but I will soon. I'm from PH and low income. I'm hoping to take up Film as I'm interested in working in film! But ofc I know schools aren't so generous with international students and their aids... But I would still like to hear some perspectives or advice on what I can do!

-How generous would you say your schools are in terms of funding for international students?

-Is it still pretty hard out there in USA for international students to survive with or without loads of aid?
