Should I buy Bill's Place

Hello SF friends. Long time SF (central richmond) resident here. Bill's on Clement is for sale. My honest (entirely baseless) take is that the food is not bad and if they simply remodeled the place, it could join the retro diner resurgence and be a great restaurant. No menu change, just better cleanliness/atmosphere. Am I crazy or does this make sense?

It's raining disgusting scale honeydew right now

It's non-stop raining scale feces on my deck this time of year. Everything is covered in gunk. I hired someone to do a treatment last summer with no luck. Yes, it's a sucker Siberian elm and I know they have problems, but someone please give me a magical solution.

Tent collapsed in high winds

Camped on the coast and had a very early wake up call when the wind picked up and took down one of my poles. Had to hold it down with a log. Not a fun experience. Probably my fault but I think I may get a freestanding tent instead.
