Finding roommate in Amsterdam

I'm 30, 5 years in the Netherlands, and moving in soon to a 2-bedroom apartment, new building (unfurnished) in Ams Noord (next to metro station), 75m2 + balcony and lots of light.

The rent is too much by myself, though I meet the income requirements.

I asked the agency and can get a new tenant and they say it's fine, with registration, contract etc.

None of my friends are looking for a place at the moment!

How do I go about finding a roommate? Both channels and vetting process, it's the first time in looking for someone, and want to get it right. Shared many apartments when I was younger and it's been 50/50 in terms of living together

Just changed my gear cable, unclear if it's through the right place

Hey, I've changed my kickstand and pinched the gear cable 🙃

So I replaced it, but now I don't remember where it's supposed to go through in the area of the kickstand. See photo, do you think the current setup is correct or should it go like the green line, around the kickstand?

How do you remove a stuck Allen bolt

20 years old bike, the kickstand snapped. I want to replace it.

I've been pulling hopefully the right way (counterclockwise) but without any success. Also have applied the all-in-one degreaser from decathlon to try to unstick the bolt.

My Allen key is quite short to be honest, I was just hoping to muscle through, I'm now scared I might round the bolt. Any tips on how to unstuck this?

Help me figure out problem with Dieffenbachia

Hello! This is the first plant out of the +20 I have that I can't figure out. I adopted it 4 months ago from a friend.

I'm wondering if yellowing/curling leaves are a sing of overwater or sun-stress?

It receives quite a bit of light, it's on a west facing window, with sun from ~5pm to ~9pm, similar to how it was in its previous house, where it was flowering.

I think I'm generally over watering; I water it weekly, adjusting quantity based on how hot it has been, temperature went up to +30 in my apartment!

Now I'm cutting back on water - or at least I was, I've been on holiday and a friend took care of my plant, and my dieffenbachia is visibly worse than before.

It might also be in too big of a pot, though the ground is well draining.

Succulent flowering - help me find out how flowers should look like

Hello, I've had this plant for a few years and it has blessed me with some flowers

However they didn't really bloom! Wondering if that's normal or not. Also I'm not sure what plant it is, so if you know the name I can Google it !

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I have a wrist injury that requires surgery, so I’ve had to start playing tennis left-handed (don't want to risk playing righty post surgery).

I’m naturally right-handed, so it’s been a pretty interesting adjustment.

Groundstrokes are starting to click but my serve is still extremely slow (at least not double faulting that much!)

Before the injury, my right-handed serve was one of the strongest parts of my game...

For people who rebuilt a serve from scratch (or coaches here):

- what helped you develop pace fastest on the non-dominant side?

- Are there specific drills, progressions, or technical cues that matter most early on?

Attached a video!
